企业政治关联、领导风格与企业绩效的研究

【摘要】:由于转轨时期制度环境建设相对落后,我国企业普遍存在政治关联现象。政治关联如何影响企业绩效也成为企业成长理论新的研究热点。基于资源基础观和战略的制度理论,企业的绩效不仅取决于内部决策,同时受外部资金、环境的影响,企业的政治关联可以作为一种积极的替代性保护机制应对市场失灵和法律管制失效等,是企业绩效的重要影响因素。一些研究指出企业与政府建立关联,可以有效地改善经营环境,显著地提高了企业绩效;然而一些研究却发现政治关联的存在,发挥了“掠夺之手”的作用,降低了公司绩效。到目前为止,研究政治关联对企业绩效影响还比较少,而且还没有得出一致的结论。可见,政治关联的建立对于企业绩效的提升究竟是一种积极作用,还是一种消极因素,还需要进一步检验。 本文通过筛选和构建合适的描述模型,建立衡量企业政治关联与企业绩效之间关系的定量研究方法,,并以此确定企业政治关联对企业绩效的影响。首先根据已有文献对政治关联背景的判定为研究基础,提出了有关企业政治关联对企业绩效两个维度:财务绩效和创新绩效的影响以及领导风格作为企业关键人物的一个特征,对企业政治关联与企业绩效间产生调节作用的六个假设,目的是探究企业政治关联对企业绩效的影响情况。 在总结以往有关工作绩效及其影响因素研究的基础上,通过文献分析、开放式调查和问卷调查等方法,构建包含以企业政治关联为自变量、领导风格为调节变量、企业绩效为因变量的基本研究框架,提出相应的研究假设以及本研究的总体研究设计。在此基础上编制问卷并进行实证研究。最后通过对回收数据进行描述性分析、相关分析和回归分析,从中观察企业政治关联对企业绩效的变化情况,得出如下结果:(1)企业政治关联正向影响企业绩效;(2)魅力型领导在企业政治关联和企业绩效两个维度:财务绩效和创新绩效之间起着正向调节作用,即魅力型领导越强,企业政治关联对企业绩效的影响程度越高;(3)放任型领导风格在企业政治关联和企业绩效两个维度:财务绩效和创新绩效间均不产生调节作用。
[Abstract]:Due to the relative backwardness of the institutional environment during the transition period, the phenomenon of political connection exists in Chinese enterprises. How political association affects firm performance has become a new research hotspot in firm growth theory. Based on the system theory of resource-based view and strategy, the enterprise's performance depends not only on the internal decision, but also on the external capital and environment. As a positive alternative protection mechanism, the political connection of enterprises can deal with the market failure and the failure of legal regulation, which is an important influencing factor of enterprise performance. Some studies have pointed out that establishing a relationship between the enterprise and the government can effectively improve the operating environment and significantly improve the performance of the firm. However, some studies have found that the existence of the political connection has played the role of "hand of plunder" and reduced the performance of the company. So far, the influence of political association on corporate performance is relatively small, and has not reached a consistent conclusion. It can be seen that whether the establishment of political connection is a positive effect or a negative factor for the improvement of enterprise performance needs to be further tested. This paper establishes a quantitative research method to measure the relationship between corporate political association and enterprise performance through screening and constructing appropriate description model, and then determines the influence of corporate political association on enterprise performance. First of all, according to the existing literature on the background of political association as the research basis, this paper puts forward two dimensions of corporate political association: financial performance and innovation performance, and leadership style as a key character of the enterprise. There are six hypotheses on the regulatory effect between corporate political association and enterprise performance, the purpose of which is to explore the influence of corporate political association on enterprise performance. On the basis of summarizing the previous researches on job performance and its influencing factors, through the methods of literature analysis, open investigation and questionnaire survey, this paper constructs a system that takes corporate political association as independent variable and leadership style as adjustment variable. The basic research framework of firm performance as dependent variable, the corresponding research hypothesis and the overall research design of this study are put forward. On the basis of this, the questionnaire is compiled and the empirical research is carried out. Finally, through the descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis of the recovery data, we observe the change of corporate political connection to enterprise performance. The results are as follows: 1) the corporate political relationship positively affects enterprise performance. (2) the charismatic leadership plays a positive role in the two dimensions of corporate political association and enterprise performance: financial performance and innovation performance, that is, the stronger the charismatic leadership is, The higher the influence of corporate political association on enterprise performance, the more laissez-faire leadership style has no effect on the two dimensions of corporate political association and enterprise performance: financial performance and innovation performance.
