礼的“义”“仪”关系之辨

【摘要】:礼学的"义"与"仪"的关系,是中国古代礼学研究中的重要课题,在以往的研究中,学者多从"精神—器物"或"形式—内容"的路径对两者进行探讨。本文认为,这样的理解,实是基于"本体论"的视角,即以"义"为本,以"仪"为末。事实上,礼的"义"与"仪"之间的关系并不适合"本体"式的诠释,"义"并不比"仪"更为本质,而是由"义"—"仪"—"意"的整体所形成的"际会"(通变)的理论来理解,才是"礼"的关键所在。
[Abstract]:The relationship of the ritual of "righteousness" and "instrument", is an important issue in the study of the ancient ritual China, in previous studies, to explore the two scholars from "spirit objects" or "form and content" path. This paper argues that this understanding is based on "the body on" perspective, namely "meaning" as the "instrument" to the end. In fact, the relationship between the rite of "righteousness" and "instrument" is not suitable for the interpretation of "ontology", "righteousness" is no better than "instrument" is more essential, but by "righteousness" and "instrument" meaning "the overall form" will be the occasion (change) the theory to understand, is the "ceremony" of the key.
