【摘要】：正前几年,先后读过张培锋教授的《宋代士大夫佛学与文学》、《宋诗与禅》等著作,其材料的丰富、考证的详密以及其中反映出的严谨踏实的学风,给笔者留下了深刻的印象。最近,又高兴地读到他的新著《居士传校注》(中华书局"中国佛教典籍选刊"之一,以下简称《校注》)一书。该书作为一部扎实的基础研究著作,为中国居士佛教研究勘定了重要的文献资料,为今后进一步推进对中国居士佛教的研究提供了坚实的基础。《居士传》,五十六卷,清乾隆四十年(1775),彭绍升(法名"彭际清")述。《居士传》是一部专门记述汉地佛教的世俗信仰,即居士的生平事迹,亦主要是他们的佛教活动的传记,也是清代以前同类题材的一部集
