“因明”未必等于“佛教逻辑”

【摘要】："因明"一般被解释为"佛教逻辑"。但追溯其在印度的渊源和传入中土、东瀛后的内涵,就会发现"因明"一词的内涵和外延在不同地域、不同阶段、不同思想史背景下,其所指是有所变化的。究竟该如何理解"因明"、"佛教逻辑"等词的含义,就要看是在何种意义下、何种思想背景下理解,不可一概而论。文章以因明的重要传承地日本为例,通过考察"因明"在北传过程中意义的变化,阐明玄奘所创"因明"一词在不同思想史背景中的具体所指,再现其千余年佛学研究的研究轨迹以及与汉地因明研究的不同。
[Abstract]:InMing is generally interpreted as Buddhist logic.But looking back on its origin in India and its connotation in China and Japan, we can find that the connotation and extension of the word "InMing" has changed in different regions, different stages and different ideological historical backgrounds.How to understand the meaning of the words "InMing" and "Buddhist logic" depends on the meaning and ideological background, which can not be generalized.Taking Japan, an important heritage of InMing, as an example, this paper, by examining the changes in the meaning of "Inmin" in the course of its northward transmission, illustrates the specific meaning of the word "InMing" in different ideological historical backgrounds, which was coined by Xuanzang.It reproduces the research track of Buddhism for more than a thousand years and the difference from the study of Han and Yi Ming.
