在华耶稣会士与后“礼仪之争”时代——以德意志耶稣会士魏继晋为例

【摘要】:德意志耶稣会士魏继晋(Florian Joseph Bahr,1706-1771)于1738年抵达中国。当时,天主教内部已经禁止就中国礼仪问题再行讨论,中国境内亦已禁止天主教公开传播。与其他在京欧洲传教士一样,魏继晋通过提供宫廷服务,获得在华居留权,但他视在华传教为第一要务,为此积极争取来自欧洲的经济支持,重视与欧洲尤其是德意志地区的信息交流。1755年魏继晋获得新教学者完成的《中华帝国全志》德文本,不满其中有关在华耶稣会士的部分记述,撰《驳谬说书》加以辩驳,以期向德语区读者证明,耶稣会士才是中国信息的权威发布者,希望德语区读者继续相信并支持天主教在华传教工作。
[Abstract]:German Jesuit Wei Jijin Florian Joseph Bahrn 1706-1771) arrived in China in 1738. At that time, Catholicism had been banned from further discussion on Chinese etiquette, and public dissemination of Catholicism was prohibited in China. Like other European missionaries in Beijing, Wei Jijin obtained the right of abode in China by providing court services. However, he regarded preaching in China as his first priority, and actively sought financial support from Europe for this purpose. Attaching importance to the exchange of information with Europe, especially the German region. In 1755, Wei Jijin obtained the German text of the whole Book of the Chinese Empire completed by a new teacher, dissatisfied with the partial account of the Jesuits in China, and writing the Book of refutation to refute it. In order to prove to the German-speaking readers that the Jesuits are the authoritative publishers of Chinese information, it is hoped that the German-speaking readers will continue to believe in and support the Catholic missionary work in China.
