The emergence and development of Taoism can be divided into the origin period of Han Dynasty, the development period of Wei and Jin dynasties, the flourishing period of Sui and Tang dynasties, the period of the transformation of Song and Yuan dynasties, and the decline of Ming and Qing dynasties. From the beginning of the seventh century, Chinese Taoism was formally introduced into the Korean Peninsula, and then through the three countries, the reunification of Silla, Korea and Lee's North Korea became religious beliefs with its own characteristics. The history of the spread of Taoism in Japan is not clearly recorded, Nara period was first popular in the upper layer, and then spread to the lower class. Peaceful times is the most prosperous period of Taoism, after the revival of the Edo era, popular among the people. The third part mainly discusses the reasons why Taoism spread in ancient Korea and Japan. The spread of Chinese characters and Chinese culture in Korea and Japan is an important reason for the spread of Taoism in Korea and Japan. The similarity of the witchcraft customs of Chu with Korea and Japan makes Taoism have a close feeling when entering Korea and Japan, which is one of the reasons for the spread of Taoism in Korea and Japan. The immortality belief in Taoism is similar to that in Korea and Japan, which is another reason for the spread of Taoism in Korea and Japan. The fourth part mainly expounds the general situation of practicing Taoism in Korea caused by the influence of Taoism, and confirms the influence of the spread of Taoism in Korea on Korean folk beliefs.
