中国佛教孝道思想研究

【摘要】:印度佛教在两汉时期传入中国后,面临着中国传统儒家孝道思想的巨大压力,中国佛教学者们不得不着力寻找儒佛两家伦理道德的契合点,中国佛教孝道思想是佛教在中国立足和发展的关键,,也是佛教中国化的一大主要特征。本文首先追溯了中国佛教孝道思想的社会基础和理论渊源;其次,探讨了中国佛教孝道思想的基本内容和主要特点;再次,阐述了中国佛教孝道思想的历史作用与现代价值。 全文主体共分三章。第一章简要论述了中国佛教孝道思想的社会基础和理论渊源。其社会基础是自然经济条件下的宗法伦理。其理论渊源主要是印度佛教经典中的孝道观点和中国传统伦理中的孝道思想。中国佛教孝道伦理思想的形成是佛教中国化的必然产物,是印度佛教伦理思想与中国传统孝道伦理思想的相互渗透和融合。 第二章主要阐述了中国佛教孝道思想的基本内容和主要特点。中国佛教思想家们根据不同时代的发展要求,对佛教孝道进行了不少论述和扩充,使其适应社会和自身发展的需要。按照历史与逻辑相统一的原则,对中国佛教孝道思想的主要内容进行了四个方面的阐释:入世之孝与出世之孝不相违,尽孝源于报恩,戒律与孝道合一,孝顺与念佛统一。中国佛教孝道思想与中国传统孝道思想相比较而凸显出以下基本特征:第一,“戒”“善”结合;第二,母恩难报;第三,理行同修;第四,笃孝求福;第五,行孝“戒杀”。 第三章简明阐述了中国佛教孝道思想的历史作用和现代价值。中国佛教孝道思想有其独特的社会作用。它在中国社会历史发展的进程中,起过重要的醒世助化作用,在我国当代全面建设小康社会的社会主义建设新时期,也有着不可忽视的启示意义和现实价值。
[Abstract]:After Indian Buddhism was introduced into China during the Han Dynasty, facing the great pressure of the traditional Chinese Confucian filial piety, the Chinese Buddhist scholars had to focus on finding the joint point of the Confucian and Buddhist ethics. The thought of filial piety in Chinese Buddhism is the key to the establishment and development of Buddhism in China, and it is also a major characteristic of Buddhism in China. This paper first traces the social basis and theoretical origin of Chinese Buddhist filial piety; secondly, discusses the basic content and main characteristics of Chinese Buddhist filial piety; thirdly, expounds the historical role and modern value of Chinese Buddhist filial piety. The main body of the paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter briefly discusses the social basis and theoretical origin of Chinese Buddhist filial piety. Its social foundation is the patriarchal ethics under the natural economy condition. Its theoretical origin is mainly from the viewpoint of filial piety in the Indian Buddhist Classics and the filial piety thought in Chinese traditional ethics. The formation of Chinese Buddhist filial piety ethics is the inevitable outcome of Buddhism in China and the mutual penetration and fusion of Indian Buddhist ethics and Chinese traditional filial piety ethics. The second chapter mainly expounds the basic content and main characteristics of Chinese Buddhist filial piety thought. According to the development requirements of different times, Chinese Buddhist thinkers expound and expand the filial piety of Buddhism in order to adapt it to the needs of the society and its own development. According to the principle of the unity of history and logic, this paper expounds the main contents of Chinese Buddhist filial piety in four aspects: filial piety after entering WTO and filial piety born in the world, filial piety comes from retribution, discipline and filial piety are United, filial piety and Buddhist unity. The comparison between Chinese Buddhist filial piety and Chinese traditional filial piety shows the following basic features: first, the combination of "precepts" and "goodness"; second, the failure of mother's kindness to repay; third, the practice of practicing filial piety; fourth, filial piety and blessing; and fifth, filial piety "abstaining from killing". The third chapter briefly expounds the historical role and modern value of Chinese Buddhist filial piety. Chinese Buddhist filial piety thought has its unique social function. It has played an important role in the process of social and historical development in China. It also has enlightening significance and practical value in the new period of socialist construction of building a well-off society in an all-round way in our country.
