璧山神研究

【摘要】： 在民间信仰的研究领域中,地方神的研究占有很大的比重。而对于地方神的研究,就地域而言,目前做的比较成熟的是江浙及东南沿海一代;就对象来说,研究者所更加侧重的是在全国具有较高知名度,产生较大影响的祠神,比如关羽神、五通神、城隍、妈祖等。由于具有较为丰富的历史文献、碑刻记载以及现实生活中的实证物件,例如散落各地的祠庙等,使得针对这种影响较大的祠神研究成为民间信仰研究的主流。然而在民间信仰体系中,往往存在着历史语境下有着辉煌的过去,而现如今走向没落或是在官方的祠典上没有被正式赐号、封赏但是在地方上具有较大影响力的地方性神灵。这些领域的研究对于历史上的地方神考证具有独到的观察视角,却往往为我们所忽略。有鉴于此,本文以在川东地区历史上具有广泛影响力的地方性神灵——璧山神作为研究的个案,以期管中窥豹,从而为地方神的变迁以及它对当地社会各个时期的影响做一番阐述。璧山神的研究并不是孤立存在的,它既与整个时代背景下国家的官方祭祀政策有关,又受到主流儒释道宗教信仰的影响。因而在璧山神信仰产生和推广的过程中,这些成为我们考察的主要部分。本文通过综合采用历史文献记载、地方志、碑刻以及实地取证的方式,从民间信仰地方神的产生、发展及传播等多种因素考究历史语境下的璧山神信仰。 全文总共由六个部分构成。第一部分为绪论,对本文的研究思路进行简明的阐述。围绕着整个民间信仰体系的研究趋势,提出璧山神信仰的研究价值,通过综合考察璧山神信仰的变迁进而反映出当地民众的信仰体系。 第二部分从广义的层面就民间信仰的概念问题进行探讨。目前国内民间信仰的研究方兴未艾,而针对它的定义也呈现出多种观点。一种认为民间信仰属于地方社会共同体的没有完整宗教信仰体系的庶民信仰,另一种则提出民间信仰活动的宗教体系性及非文本性,认为它是以一种“民间宗教”(Popular Religion)的独立身份而存在的。 第三部分介绍的是璧山神生平及成神条件,这一点也是文中的重心部分。依托日本学者滨文敦俊先生提出的地方神成神条件,我们从璧山神的生前义行、死后显灵以及官方封号三个方面予以考证。其中主体部分为官方的封号问题。在此,我们介绍了官方祭祀对于璧山神信仰产生及传播的重要意义以及缘何璧山神能够被纳入官方祠典的祭祀体系中。 第四部分主要介绍的是璧山神职能的多样化,主要从三个方面展开讨论。分别是军事职能、调节水旱灾职能、商业职能三个方面。基于文献资料较少的缘故,并且璧山神的职能与其它地方神的职能存在着共通性,文章中将其作为独立的一章,从中发掘璧山神演变的端倪。 第五部分讲述的璧山神信仰分别与儒释道的关系。本文从道教、佛教、儒教与璧山神信仰的关系上,推而延伸至对民间信仰与三教之间关系的探讨这样一个目前民间信仰研究领域较为热点的问题。 第六部分为结语。在综合考察璧山神信仰产生、变迁的内外因素后,总结出璧山神衰落的缘由,从而整体的反映璧山神信仰的历史和现状。
[Abstract]:In the research field of folk belief, the study of local gods occupies a large proportion.
