从太虚大师的佛耶之谊看其佛教革新和佛耶对话

【摘要】：中国近代佛教高僧太虚大师,与清末来华的挪威传教士艾香德牧师(Karl Ludvig Reichelt,1877—1952)之间的友谊和交往,不仅让我们看到太虚在面对西方文化的强势传入和中国佛教的衰落之势,在佛教内部寻找复兴佛教的思想资源,宣扬由人生而成佛的"人菩萨行"的革新举措,也让我们了解了太虚在对外与西方基督教相遇之时,其开阔的视野和包容的胸怀,友好地表达自我和理解他者的尝试,以及太虚在回应艾香德以道求同的探索,所凸显的佛耶教义的异同之于中西文化交流的贡献。
[Abstract]:The friendship and exchanges between the high Buddhist monk Taixu Master of modern China and the Norwegian missionary, (Karl Ludvig Reichelt,1877-1952, who came to China in the late Qing Dynasty, not only show us that Taishu is facing the strong introduction of Western culture and the decline of Chinese Buddhism. Looking within Buddhism for the ideological resources for reviving Buddhism, and advocating the innovative measures of "human Bodhisattva", which became Buddhas from life, let us also understand Taixu's broad vision and tolerant mind when it comes to meeting with Western Christianity. The attempt to express oneself amicably and to understand others, as well as Tai Hau's attempt to respond to Aixander's exploration of seeking common ground by Tao, highlights the similarities and differences of Foyer's doctrine in the contribution of cultural exchanges between China and the West.
