从霍夫斯泰德的文化价值维度看电影《刮痧》中的跨文化适应

【摘要】:今天,快速发展的信息时代已经把世界联成一片,经济全球化的发展趋势越来越明显,所以世界文化发展的状况早已不是自己发展自己的,却是在互相影响下构成了文化多元存在的局面。不同文化的交往日益越频繁,人们再也没办法独处一隅而安然自乐了,文化间更加迅速的交往是大势所趋。所以在中西文化交流的过程中我们不可能回避的一个问题就是中西文化之间存在的差异。这种文化差异在一定程度上妨碍了文化的交流,给人们带来了太多的不便,想要解决文化差异的问题首先就得知道中西文化到底存在那些方面的不同,是风俗习惯,交际习俗,思维方式,或者价值观念的差异。文化价值维度理论是荷兰管理学家Geert Hofstede提出来的。他在著名的跨国公司IBM(国际商业机器公司)进行了一项想当大规模的文化价值观的调查。通过对比分析调查数据,归纳出衡量价值观的五个维度,它们分别是:权力距离,个人主义和集体主义,男性化和女性化,不确定性规避,长期观和短期观。 论文共分为五章,第一章对霍夫斯泰德,跨文化适应以及电影《刮痧》的国内外研究现状进行了系统的介绍。第二章是是对霍夫斯泰德的文化价值维度进行了系统的介绍与概括,主要从权力距离,不确定性规避,集体主义个人主义,男性化与女性化以及长短期取向五个价值维度进行阐述。第三章对是对文化价值维度和跨文化适应现象进行了整合,找到其中的契合点具体分析。第四章是通过文化维度分析刮痧中的具体现象。第五章通过对前四章的总结说明主要发现存在的不足以及提出相关建议建立和发展良性的跨文化交际关系。由于世界的迅速发展导致文化传通障碍与文化休克问题的大量出现,引起了大家对文化差异性与文化休克的关注和重新认识,进而使很多的人参预到对文化的差异性、文化矛盾和跨文化传通的实践和理论的研究中来。希望这篇文章能为文化维度的进一步研究找寻到一个新的角度,,从霍夫斯泰德的文化维度角度来分析电影《刮痧》,可以为以后的研究者提供有用的借鉴和参考,进一步促进中西方文化的交流与融合。
[Abstract]:Today, the rapid development of the information age has combined the world into one piece, the trend of economic globalization is becoming more and more obvious, so the development of world culture has long been not their own development. But under the influence of each other constitute the situation of cultural diversity. The more frequent interaction between different cultures, people can no longer be alone and happy. More rapid communication between cultures is the trend of the times. So in the process of cultural exchange between China and the West, we can not avoid the problem of the differences between Chinese and Western cultures. To some extent, this cultural difference hinders the development of cultural exchanges between China and the West. Cultural exchange. Bring too much inconvenience to people, to solve the problem of cultural differences, we must first of all know the differences between Chinese and Western culture in the end, is customs, communication customs, ways of thinking. Or differences in values. The theory of cultural value dimension was put forward by Geert Hofstede, a Dutch management scientist. He works for IBM, a well-known multinational company (International Business machines). Conducted a survey of cultural values that wanted to be large-scale. The data were analyzed by comparison. The five dimensions of measuring values are: power distance, individualism and collectivism, masculinity and feminization, uncertainty avoidance, long-term view and short-term view. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is about Hofsteed. Cross-cultural adaptation and film "scraping" research status at home and abroad were systematically introduced. The second chapter is a systematic introduction and summary of Hofstede's cultural value dimension, mainly from the power distance. Uncertainty avoidance, collectivism individualism, masculinity and feminization, as well as long-term and short-term orientation of five value dimensions are elaborated. Chapter three is the integration of cultural value dimension and cross-cultural adaptation. Chapter 4th is to analyze the specific phenomenon in scraping by cultural dimension. Chapter 5th shows the main shortcomings of the first four chapters by summarizing the first four chapters, and puts forward some suggestions for the establishment and development. Due to the rapid development of the world, the obstacles of cultural communication and the problems of cultural shock appear in large numbers. It has caused people to pay more attention to the cultural difference and culture shock, and make many people participate in the cultural difference. It is hoped that this article will find a new angle for the further study of cultural dimension in the practice and theory of cultural contradiction and cross-cultural communication. Analyzing the film "scrapping" from the perspective of Hofstede's cultural dimension can provide useful reference for future researchers and further promote the exchange and integration of Chinese and western cultures.
