试论好莱坞电影对美国新闻界的艺术重构

【摘要】:大众文化对现实社会的表征是一个值得研究的文化问题。新闻学研究自然也不应该忽略新闻从业者经过大众文化的塑造后所呈现的职业形象。好莱坞电影作为美国大众文化的典型代表,对记者和新闻业表达了一种特殊的关注。本文将以1940——2010年间好莱坞新闻传播题材的电影为研究对象,采用内容分析法和叙事学分析的方法,梳理、分析好莱坞电影文化所塑造的新闻业及其从业者的荧幕形象,并从中挖掘出电影所传递的关于新闻业的价值观念。 笔者认为,这一研究是一种对西方新闻业及其从业者形象进行文化意义解读的新途径,也是对好莱坞这一媒介审美文化对新闻从业者形象所做的艺术重构的整体梳理。笔者研究发现,好莱坞电影对新闻业形象的塑造是以积极、肯定的态度为主的,围绕新闻业体制力量的兴衰,新闻业的政治性与专业主义精神备受好莱坞电影文化所关注并推崇。本研究希望能够提供这样一种意义:即从整体上建立好莱坞电影中新闻业的“印象地图”,勾勒出隐藏在影像背后的北美大众文化对新闻业所表达的观点和期许。
[Abstract]:The representation of mass culture to the real society is a cultural problem worth studying. Journalism research should not ignore the professional image of journalism practitioners after being shaped by mass culture. As a typical representative of American popular culture, Hollywood films have expressed a special concern for journalists and journalism. This article will take the Hollywood news dissemination subject matter movie from 1940-2010 as the research object, uses the content analysis method and the narratology analysis method, combs, analyzes the Hollywood movie culture molds the news profession and the practitioner's screen image. And excavate the value of the news industry that the film passes from there. The author believes that this study is a new way to interpret the image of western journalism and its practitioners, and it is also a whole sort of art reconstruction of the image of news practitioners made by Hollywood, a medium aesthetic culture. The author finds that Hollywood film portrays the image of journalism mainly with a positive and positive attitude, and revolves around the rise and fall of the power of the journalism system. The political and professional spirit of journalism is highly regarded by Hollywood film culture. The purpose of this study is to establish an "impression map" of journalism in Hollywood movies, and to outline the views and expectations of the popular culture of North America, which is hidden behind the images.
