揭示电影《第九区》中的反种族主义

【摘要】：在2009年,一部以纪录片形式拍摄的科幻片第九区惊喜上映了,吸引了众多观众的注意。没有科幻片里被广泛运用作为亮点的特效,该片以独特的纪录片拍摄形式和令人震惊的低至三千万美元的电影制作经费而著名。同近几年科幻片的流行趋势一般,该片也以备受科幻影迷追捧的外星人作为题材,讲述了MNU执行驱逐蜗居在居民区附近的不速之客,也就是外星人的任务,最终以主角的异化成外星人和外星人成功发动飞船离开地球告终。自从其上映以来,第九区成为了许多研究者的研究素材,一方面是因为其涉及主角异化成外星人的情节,另一方面是因其与历史上南非种族隔离事件的许多相似性。国内外的研究员和学者都对这部电影进行了深度的分析,试图解析电影中的人性本质以及分析其与南非种族隔离的关系。本文试图从种族主义角度分析影片,并从三个主要方面来揭示影片的反种族主义主题。从电影的背景信息的选择来看,南非种族隔离与电影的相似之处说明这些安排并非偶然,通过作者的分析,这种特殊安排是为体现反种族主义而服务的。接着作者试图从外星人与人类之间的关系分析,指出带有优越身份的人类对外星人实施了许多不公平待遇并对其带有刻板成见,以此作为人类残害外星人并掠夺外星人先进武器技术的幌子。然而,外星人的成功逃脱对于有优越感的人类是一种讽刺,这种结果体现了电影的反种族主义主题。在文中最后,作者以电影主角Wikus为研究中心。通过基于一些身份认同理论对其变异过程的分析,作者认为他在变异前后表现出来的相悖的行为和想法,以及最终被外星人所救都指向电影中的反种族主义主题。通过对该片的反种族主义主题的剖析,作者希望能借此为广大观众提供一个不同的思考角度,并希望这部电影能为当代世界存在的种族主义提供警示作用。
[Abstract]:In 2009, a documentary-style science-fiction film, Zone 9, was released, attracting the attention of many viewers. Not widely used as a highlight in science fiction, the film is famous for its unique documentary format and shocking $30 million in film-making funding. In line with the popular trend of sci-fi films in recent years, the film also uses the popular alien theme pursued by sci-fi fans to tell about MNU's mission to expel uninvited guests living near residential areas, that is, aliens. Finally, the alienation of the protagonist aliens and aliens successfully launched the spacecraft to leave the Earth. Since its release, District 9 has been the subject of research for many researchers, both because it involves the alienation of the protagonist into an alien plot, and because of its many similarities to historical apartheid events in South Africa. Researchers and scholars at home and abroad have made a deep analysis of the film, trying to analyze the nature of human nature in the film and its relationship with apartheid in South Africa. This paper attempts to analyze the film from the perspective of racism and reveal its anti-racism theme from three main aspects. From the selection of the background information of the film, the similarities between apartheid and film in South Africa show that these arrangements are not accidental. Through the author's analysis, this special arrangement serves to embody anti-racism. Then the author tries to analyze the relationship between aliens and human beings, pointing out that human beings with superior status have carried out many unfair treatment of aliens and stereotyped them. This is used as a cover for the killing of aliens and the pillaging of advanced alien weapons technology. However, the successful escape of aliens is ironic to the superior human being, and the result is the anti-racism theme of the film. At the end of the paper, the author takes Wikus as the research center. Based on the analysis of his mutation process based on some identity theories, the author thinks that his contradictory behavior and ideas before and after the mutation, as well as his eventual rescue by aliens, all point to the anti-racism theme in the film. By analyzing the anti-racism theme of the film, the author hopes to provide a different angle of thinking for the audience, and also hopes that the film can serve as a warning to the contemporary world of racism.
