电子游戏改编类电影的叙事研究

【摘要】:电子游戏和电影媒介融合趋势的相关研究是当下的热点,数字技术高速发展,传统媒介为了适应生存环境,不断改变自身,与新兴媒介之间的交流与联系愈发深入,各媒介之间界限变得模糊,产生融合。在电影领域,越来越多不同领域的作品被搬上银屏改编成电影。同样属于视听艺术的电影和电子游戏,有着天然的相似性,大量的经典游戏不断被电影制作方发觉改编。电影和电子游戏融合的研究多集中在三个方面:第一,电子游戏和电影的互动、融合现状分析和趋势的展望,为本文的研究背景提供了基础;第二,电子游戏与电影之间的相似之处和不同之处的比较;第三,对以游戏为原型而进行的影视剧改编现象进行分析,这类研究较少,且关注点多在背景梳理。通过研究素材的梳理,发现学界关于电子游戏改编的电影作品本身关注度不高,且在叙事问题上的关注较少。本文以电子游戏改编类电影的叙事作为研究对象,试图将叙事学理论与电子游戏改编类电影的叙事实践相结合,分析改编后的电影作品呈现的新特点。本文首先对电子游戏和电影在叙事方面进行对比,总结异同,为后文分析奠定基础。随后从人物、主题、叙事空间和叙事结构方面入手深入分析改编后的作品呈现的新的叙事特点。近年来,国内电影市场对电子游戏改编类电影反响热烈,越来越多的本土电子游戏将被搬上银幕,关于电子游戏改编类电影作品的文本研究势在必行,尤其是叙事方面。电子游戏改编类电影在汲取游戏新的媒介特点的同时,如何保有电影本身的艺术特色,这是电影创作者应该考虑和解决的重点问题。
[Abstract]:The research on the trend of convergence of video games and film media is a hot spot. With the rapid development of digital technology, the traditional media, in order to adapt to the living environment, constantly change themselves, and the communication and connection between the traditional media and the emerging media is getting deeper and deeper. The boundaries between the media become blurred and converge. In the field of film, more and more works in different fields are adapted into films on screen. Movies and video games, which also belong to audio-visual art, have natural similarities, and a large number of classic games are constantly discovered and adapted by film producers. The research on the fusion of film and video game mainly focuses on three aspects: first, the interaction between video game and film, the analysis of fusion status and the prospect of trend, which provide the foundation for the research background of this paper; Second, the similarities and differences between video games and movies; third, the analysis of the film and television adaptation based on the game as the prototype, this kind of research is less, and the focus is mostly in the background combing. Through combing the research materials, we find that the academic circles about video game adaptation of the film itself is not high attention, and in the narrative issue of less attention. This paper takes the narration of video game adaptation film as the research object, attempts to combine the narrative theory with the narrative practice of video game adaptation film, and analyzes the new features of the adapted film works. This paper first compares video games with movies in narrative, summarizes the similarities and differences, and lays the foundation for the later analysis. Then, the new narrative features of the adapted works are analyzed from the aspects of characters, themes, narrative space and narrative structure. In recent years, the domestic film market has responded enthusiastically to the video game adaptation movies, and more local video games will be brought to the screen, so it is imperative to study the text of the video game adaptation film works, especially in the narrative aspect. Video game adaptation film while absorbing the new media characteristics of the game, how to retain the artistic characteristics of the film itself, this is the film creators should consider and solve the key problem.
