【摘要】：随着经济的全球化与中国对外贸易往来的增多,外国投资企业在中国遍地开花。有着较高教育背景和工作经验,衣着时尚精致的白领阶层人数与日俱增,他们掌握至少两种语言,大部员工是双语者或多语者。员工们在日常文件、办公邮箱、商务会话中,英语和汉语夹杂使用在一起的表达十分活跃。基于这种现象,本篇论文试图对外员工的日常办公所用的语码转换语言进行搜集,并对这些中英的码转换的特点、功能和动因进行分析。深入透视这一尚广为探索的领域有助于进一步揭示语码转换的本质,加强人们对当前外企环境下语言交际进程的理解。 有许多的研究方法已经被使用和介绍,本文以运用Shana Poplack (1988)语码转换分类模式理论和语用学的理论作为理论基础,以外企员工的办公语言为语料,以员工们的语码转换为研究对象,语料来源于外企工作者Microsoft outlook和Office Lync中的语言中,对其中的英汉语码转换现象进行了尝试性的分析。本文在前人研究的基础上关注并尝试解决以下几个问题：(1)外企中员工们的中英语码转换的结构和特点；(2)员工们的语码转换的动机和功能。 本论文通过选取了大量语码转换实例子,对语码转换展开了分析和研究,得出结论如下：(1)语码转换可以成为外企员工在竞争日益激烈职场生存与交际的一种策略；(2)英语学习者学会用正确的语码转换模式在不同的情景中,避免错误的语码转换；(3)外企这一独特的语言环境,为研究语码转换提供了真实的语境和语料,在这种环境中,语码转换作为一种非常灵活和动态的言语行为,并结合外企员工的主客观等因素充分发挥了其功能。
