政治卡通漫画中多模态隐喻转喻的认知研究

【摘要】：概念隐喻和转喻理论认为,语言中普遍存在的隐喻和转喻现象之实质是人类思维和形成概念化的隐喻性和转喻性。然而,如果这种论断是正确的话,除言语之外的诸如图片、声音、手势等其它模态中也应存在隐喻、转喻表征。本研究以政治卡通漫画为语料,旨在研究其中的多模态隐喻转喻表征、其互动过程、以及不同模态之间的互动,其重要性在于同等关注隐喻转喻两种不同机制并注重二者的动态互动。本文以大量文献为基础,按“识别-理解-解释”的步骤对语料进行系统分析,其中“识别”采用修订的Panther (2006)的隐喻、转喻关系模式。研究发现,政治卡通中的图片隐喻可分为情境隐喻、图片明喻和杂合隐喻；而由于转喻的域内在性,图片转喻不存在上述分类。政治卡通中隐喻和转喻常表现出场景性,由此产生了场景隐喻及场景转喻。言语模态以标签、标题以及文本框三种形式与图片模态发生互动,突显出源域、靶域或某映射过程。隐喻和转喻的互动呈现出以下模式：转喻激发隐喻靶域、隐喻缩减转喻映射范围、转喻为隐喻映射提供情境。本文的发现为隐喻和转喻的概念性提供了佐证,提出了政治卡通漫画中非言语隐喻转喻模式、其互动模式及模态间的互动方式。最后,本文建议今后研究应加强实证研究、注重隐喻转喻表征的文体特征。
[Abstract]:Conceptual metaphor and metonymy theory holds that the essence of metaphor and metonymy is the metonymy and metonymy of human thinking and conceptualization. Metaphors and metonymy representations should also exist in other modes, such as pictures, sounds, gestures and so on. The purpose of this study is to study the multi-modal metonymy metonymy, its interactive process and the interaction between different modes. The importance lies in paying equal attention to the two different mechanisms of metonymy and their dynamic interaction. Based on a large amount of literature, this paper makes a systematic analysis of the corpus according to the steps of "recognition, understanding and interpretation". Among them, "recognition" adopts the revised Panther / 2006 metaphor, metonymy relation model. It is found that the image metaphors in political cartoons can be divided into situational metaphors, picture metaphors and hybrid metaphors. However, due to the fact that metonymy is in the domain, there is no such classification. Metaphor and metonymy in political cartoons often show the scene, which produces the scene metaphor and the scene metonymy. The speech mode is tagged. The three forms of the title and the text box interact with the image mode, highlighting the source domain, target domain or some mapping process. The interaction between metaphor and metonymy presents the following patterns: metonymy stimulates the metaphorical target domain. Metaphor reduces the scope of metonymy mapping and metonymy mapping provides context for metonymy mapping. The findings of this paper provide evidence for the conceptual nature of metaphor and metonymy and propose a non-verbal metonymy model in political cartoon cartoons. Finally, this paper suggests that the empirical study should be strengthened in the future, and the stylistic features of metonymy should be emphasized.
