中美夫妻间话语冲突结束方式的对比研究

【摘要】：话语冲突作为交际中普遍的一种语言现象,频繁地发生于人们的互动交际之中。在言语交际中,如果交际参与者对同一事件持有不同意见、观点、立场等,争议、反驳甚至争吵就会出现。作为话语冲突的一类,夫妻间话语冲突近年来也受到了广泛关注。国内外学者分别从认知语言学、心理学、人类学、语用学等角度研究了夫妻间话语冲突的建构特征,发展模式以及夫妻双方语言选择的特点。以往的研究大多关注同一文化背景下男女双方语言选择的不同,而不同文化背景下话语冲突的对比研究却很少。本研究将通过会话分析理论分析夫妻间话语冲突的会话模式、探究夫妻话语冲突的结束方式、对比分析中美两国夫妻在结束话语冲突时策略选择的异同以及造成这些异同的原因。本文采用基于语料分析的定性分析和定量统计相结合的研究方法。语料选自中美两国比较贴近生活的电视剧,即《婚姻保卫战》和《Desperate H0usewives》。作者选取两剧中55例发生于夫妻之间的话语冲突作为研究对象,首先通过会话分析相关理论为依据,分析夫妻间话语冲突的会话结构,重点在于探讨处于会话结构的中最后一个阶段,即话语冲突的结束部分。通过对收集的语料进行定性分析和定量统计,归纳出夫妻双方在结束话语冲突时采用的策略,并计算出各种策略使用的频率。通过分析得出的数据,找出中美夫妻在结束冲突性话语时策略选择的异同,并探究产生这些异同的原因。通过对中美两国夫妻冲突性话语结束方式的对比研究发现： (1)中美夫妻在结束冲突性话语时有以下10种方式：一方妥协、转换话题、第三方介入、客观环境干扰、一方获胜、双方和解、一方退出、双方退出、暴力方式结束和双方达成一致意见。 (2)中美夫妻在结束冲突性话语时,都采用不同的方式结束冲突。其中中国夫妻倾向于选择间接方式,如一方或双方退出,以冷战方式结束。而美国夫妻则倾向于选择更加理性的方式,如通过沟通达成一致意见或一方妥协。 (3)造成中美夫妻在解决冲突性话语时采取策略的不同的原因是多方面的,但根本原因在于中美两国文化背景的不同。本研究在一定程度上丰富了夫妻间话语冲突的相关研究。夫妻间话语冲突中语言及策略选择的分析能为其他夫妻在避免或消除冲突时提供建议。对中美两国夫妻间话语冲突的对比分析及原因探究能对我们研究中美文化差异有一定的贡献。
[Abstract]:As a common language phenomenon in communication, discourse conflict frequently occurs in people's interactive communication. In verbal communication, if the participants hold different opinions, opinions, positions, disputes, rebuttal and even quarrels on the same matter. As a kind of discourse conflict, couples' discourse conflict has been paid more and more attention in recent years. From the perspectives of cognitive linguistics, psychology, anthropology and pragmatics, scholars at home and abroad have studied the characteristics of construction, development mode and language choice between husband and wife. Previous studies have mostly focused on the differences in language choices between men and women in the same cultural context, but there are few contrastive studies on discourse conflict in different cultural contexts. The present study will analyze the conversational patterns of marital discourse conflict through conversational analysis theory, and explore the end mode of marital discourse conflict. This paper makes a comparative analysis of the differences and similarities in the choice of strategies between Chinese and American couples at the end of the discourse conflict and the reasons for these differences. This paper adopts the research method of qualitative analysis and quantitative statistics based on corpus analysis. The corpus is drawn from Chinese and American TV dramas which are close to life, that is, Defense of Marriage and Desperate H0usewives. The author selects 55 cases of discourse conflict between husband and wife as the object of study. Firstly, based on the theory of conversational analysis, the author analyzes the conversational structure of the conflict between husband and wife. The focus is on the end of discourse conflict in the last stage of conversational structure. Based on the qualitative analysis and quantitative statistics of the collected data, the strategies used by husband and wife to end the discourse conflict are summed up, and the frequency of each strategy is calculated. By analyzing the data, this paper finds out the similarities and differences between Chinese and American couples' choice of strategies in ending conflict discourse, and explores the reasons for these differences and similarities. Through the comparative study of the two countries, we find that: (1) there are 10 ways for Chinese and American couples to end the conflict: compromise, change of topic, third party intervention, objective environment interference, victory, reconciliation, withdrawal and withdrawal. The violence ended with an agreement between the two sides. Chinese and American couples end conflict in different ways. Chinese couples tend to choose indirect ways, such as one or both sides withdraw and end with cold war. American couples, on the other hand, tend to choose more rational approaches, such as reaching agreement through communication or compromise. 3) there are many reasons for the different strategies of Chinese and American couples in resolving conflict discourse, but the fundamental reason lies in the difference of cultural background between China and the United States. To some extent, this study enriches the study of marital discourse conflict. The analysis of language and strategy choice in the conflict between husband and wife can provide advice for other couples to avoid or eliminate the conflict. The contrastive analysis of the conflict between Chinese and American couples and the exploration of the causes can contribute to the study of the cultural differences between China and the United States.
