中级阶段留学生汉语阅读词汇量测试研究

【摘要】:词汇量的多少是第二语言学习者语言水平和词汇水平的一个重要标志,中级阶段词汇教学的主要任务就是帮助学生扩大词汇量(胡明扬,1997)。本文从不同年级与不同母语文化背景出发,对中山大学国际汉语学院中级阶段留学生进行了学期初和学期末两次词汇量测试,,统计和分析了测试结果,并考察了词汇量与词汇运用能力的关系,对词汇教学效果进行了分析。 研究发现:一,留学生在中级阶段开始时词汇量为2456个,结束时为4851个,共增长了2395个;二,非汉字圈留学生在中级阶段词汇量的增长幅度要高于汉字圈留学生;三,留学生年级越高,他们对越高级别词汇的掌握越能体现他们的词汇水平;四,留学生年级越高,词汇量与词汇运用能力的相关性越大,但没有密切到足以预测词汇运用能力的程度;五,留学生年级越低,词汇量与阅读能力的相关性越大;六,中级一、二的词汇教学效果好于中级三、四。 笔者希望本文的研究能够对中级阶段汉语词汇教学有所帮助,尤其是能够帮助中级阶段汉语教师更清楚地了解学生的总词汇量及各等级词汇的词汇量,从而更有针对性地指导学生的词汇学习。
[Abstract]:The number of vocabulary is an important symbol of the language level and vocabulary level of the second language learners. The main task of the intermediate stage vocabulary teaching is to help students expand their vocabulary (Hu Mingyang, 1997). This article, starting with the cultural background of different grades and different native languages, has carried out the intermediate stage students of the Institute of international Chinese in Zhongshan University. At the beginning of the semester and the end of the semester two vocabulary tests, statistics and analysis of the results of the test, and examine the relationship between vocabulary and vocabulary use ability, and the effect of vocabulary teaching is analyzed.
The study found that: first, the vocabulary of foreign students at the beginning of the intermediate stage is 2456, the end of which is 4851, a total increase of 2395; two, the increase in the vocabulary of the non Chinese circle students at the intermediate stage is higher than the Chinese character circle students; three, the higher the students in the higher grade, the more they can express their vocabulary to the higher grade vocabulary. Level; four, the higher the grade of the foreign students, the greater the correlation between vocabulary and vocabulary application ability, but not enough to predict the degree of vocabulary use; five, the lower the grade of the students, the greater the correlation between vocabulary and reading ability; six, intermediate one, two vocabulary teaching effect is better than the intermediate three, four.
The author hopes that this study can help the intermediate stage Chinese vocabulary teaching, especially to help middle stage Chinese teachers to know more clearly the total vocabulary of the students and the vocabulary of each grade, so as to guide the students' vocabulary learning more.
