当代外国儿童小说汉译研究

【摘要】:外国儿童小说素来以丰富的想象力和细致的笔触而闻名。较之刻板的教学书籍,外国儿童小说凭借其生动有趣的情节和温情感人的情感内核对儿童小说读者潜移默化的教育和指引作用不可忽视。这些外国儿童小说翻译作品亦为中国儿童小说的创作做出了重要贡献,一方面它为中国儿童小说家提供了更加丰富的素材和更广阔的创作角度;另一方面也不断扩展着儿童小说可以延伸的领域,不断激发国内儿童小说家的创作灵感。 但是当代外国儿童小说的翻译作品存在着一些显而易见的问题。有些译者简单认为儿童小说只不过是“缩小版”的成人小说,是原作者使用较为浅显的语言表达、相对简单的句型结构进行创作的作品。因而,,在对儿童小说的译介过程中往往只是简单地采用将语言表达方式简化、抹掉文化差异的痕迹等方法处理外国儿童小说作品,无视当代儿童小说读者较为深厚的文化基础和不断追求进步的需求。这些问题和缺陷直接影响着当代儿童小说读者的阅读。不仅如此,以往对外国儿童小说的汉译研究往往停留在某一理论指导下对某一阶段或时期外国儿童小说汉译的共时性研究。这些研究缺乏宏观的对全局历时性的思索,也缺少具有一定广度和深度的实际调查。 本文从宏观角度对外国儿童小说汉译发展进行了简单扼要的历时性分析。然后对当代中国儿童小说读者进行了较为深入的教育学和心理学分析,并对当代中国儿童小说读者阅读取向、阅读习惯和阅读能力及其对外国儿童小说汉译作品的意见和建议进行了调查。本文还从主客观两个方面对当代儿童小说译者遭遇的困难进行了分析,并提出可行性较高、有实际意义的当代外国儿童小说汉译优化方针及策略。论文着眼点置于理论和实践的融合,力求在本研究领域有所突破,为当代外国儿童小说汉译的优化做出应有的贡献。
[Abstract]:Foreign children's novels are famous for their rich imagination and meticulous strokes. Compared with the rigid teaching books, foreign children's novels can not be ignored because of their vivid and interesting plot and warm and moving emotional core to the children's novel readers' education and guidance. The translation of these foreign children's novels has also made an important contribution to the creation of Chinese children's novels. On the one hand, it provides Chinese child novelists with more abundant materials and broader creative angles. On the other hand, it also expands the field of children's novels and inspires the creative inspiration of domestic children novelists. However, there are some obvious problems in the translation of contemporary foreign children's novels. Some translators simply think that children's novels are just "miniature" adult novels, which are created by the original author with relatively simple sentence structure and simple language expression. Therefore, in the process of translating and introducing children's novels, they often simply use the methods of simplifying language expressions and erasing the traces of cultural differences to deal with the works of foreign children's novels. Ignore the readers of contemporary children's novels on the basis of culture and constantly pursue the needs of progress. These problems and defects directly affect the reading of contemporary children's novels. Moreover, the previous studies on the translation of foreign children's novels into Chinese are often confined to the synchronic study of Chinese translation of foreign children's novels at a certain stage or period under the guidance of a certain theory. These studies lack macroscopic diachronic thinking and practical investigation with certain breadth and depth. This paper makes a brief diachronic analysis of the development of Chinese translation of foreign children's novels from a macro point of view. Then, the author analyzes the readers of contemporary Chinese children's novels deeply in pedagogy and psychology, and analyzes the readers' reading orientation of contemporary Chinese children's novels. This paper investigates the reading habits and reading ability and its opinions and suggestions on the translation of foreign children's novels into Chinese. This paper also analyzes the difficulties encountered by the translators of contemporary children's novels from the subjective and objective aspects, and puts forward some practical and feasible guidelines and strategies for optimizing the translation of contemporary children's novels from Chinese to Chinese. Focusing on the integration of theory and practice, the thesis tries to make a breakthrough in this field and make due contributions to the optimization of the translation of contemporary foreign children's novels.
