《翻译与禁忌》（第三章）翻译项目报告

【摘要】：在当今中国翻译界，“变译”形式逐渐被一些人所接受。不过，理论和实践方面的多元化都遭到了相当一部分人的抵制。因为人们对传统理论仍心存敬畏，不愿或不敢冒犯其至高无上的地位。换句话说，传统理论及观念对我们构成了某种禁忌，这对理论和实践的发展都是极为不利的。 美国翻译理论家罗宾逊教授的《翻译与禁忌》(TranslationTaboo)一书为我们提供了很好的借鉴。在书中，，罗宾逊教授通过丰富的文本详细分析了西方翻译史上的种种禁忌，并表明这些禁忌今天仍然存在，而且已经深入到西方翻译理论到实践的各个层面，对理论家和译者形成了禁锢，限制了翻译理论和实践的多元发展。书中分析的许多现象同样也出现在中国翻译界，因而很有参考价值。 本翻译项目节选了第三章进行翻译。特别针对文中大量出现的定语从句进行翻译探讨，同时对原文关键词“double”进行研究，总结翻译经验。
[Abstract]:In today's Chinese translation world, the form of "variant translation" has gradually been accepted by some people. However, theoretical and practical pluralism has been resisted by a considerable number of people. Because people are still in awe of traditional theories, unwilling or afraid to offend their supremacy. In other words, traditional theories and ideas constitute some kind of taboo to us, which is unfavorable to the development of theory and practice. American translation theorist Professor Robinson's Translation and taboos (TranslationTaboo) provides us with a good reference. In his book, Professor Robinson makes a detailed analysis of various taboos in the history of Western translation through rich texts, and shows that these taboos still exist today and have reached all levels of Western translation theory to practice. It limits the pluralistic development of translation theory and practice. Many of the phenomena analyzed in the book also appear in Chinese translation circles, so they are of great reference value. This translation project excerpts from the third chapter for translation. In particular, the translation of attributive clauses is discussed, and the original keyword "double" is studied, and the translation experience is summarized.
