从语域理论看《爱玛》的中译本

【摘要】：随着翻译研究的发展,学者们试图把语言学理论应用到翻译研究中。作为语言学的一个分支,语域理论引起了学者们的关注。近年来,越来越多的学者开始运用语域分析的方法从不同视角探究翻译,这些探究对翻译研究做出了贡献。 《爱玛》是简·奥斯丁的一部巨作,被认为是作者最成熟的一部小说。在小说中,作者运用活泼的语言和生动的描写,刻画了一系列经典的人物形象。自《爱玛》出版以来,受到了国内外的欢迎。2001年,孙致礼的《爱玛》译本由译林出版社发行。《爱玛》及其译本的成功吸引了学者们的关注并引发了学者们对其进行研究的兴趣。这些研究主要集中于四个方面：归化与异化、译者的主体性、女性主义和文学文体学。然而,少有学者从语域分析的视角对其译本进行研究。 语域是指在语言交际过程中依据不同的交际场景而出现的不同语言变体。语域由三个变量组成：语场、语旨和语式。本文试图从语域的视角来分析和评价孙致礼的译本。 本文共分六个部分。引言部分简要介绍了《爱玛》的研究背景、研究目的和研究意义。 第一章是文献综述,分别从归化与异化、译者的主体性、女性主义和文学文体学等四个方面,总结了《爱玛》译本的研究现状,并在此基础上指出以往研究之不足,以及本研究之重要性。 第二章是理论框架部分。首先回顾了语域理论的发展历程,接着讨论了汉语及英语的语域标记,以及语域三个变量之间的关系。 第三章是《爱玛》译本分析。依照理论框架,论文从语域的三个变量对孙致礼的《爱玛》译本作了分析。 第四章基于孙致礼的翻译实践,在语域理论指导下,尝试概括出了三条翻译方法。 论文最后一部分是总结。阐述了论文的研究成果及实践意义,同时也指出了论文研究中尚存的不足之处。
[Abstract]:With the development of translation studies, scholars try to apply linguistic theory to translation studies. As a branch of linguistics, register theory has attracted the attention of scholars. In recent years, more and more scholars have begun to use the method of register analysis to explore translation from different perspectives, which has contributed to the study of translation. Emma is a great work by Jane Austen. Is considered to be the author's most mature novel. In the novel, the author uses lively language and vivid description to depict a series of classic characters. Since the publication of Emma, it has been popular at home and abroad. In 2001, Sun Zhili's version of Emma was published by Yilin Publishing House. The success of Emma and its translation attracted the attention of scholars and aroused the interest of scholars in their research. These studies mainly focus on four aspects: domestication and alienation, translator's subjectivity, feminism and literary stylistics. However, few scholars study its translation from the perspective of register analysis. Register refers to the different language variants in the process of language communication according to different communication scenes. The register consists of three variables: field, tenor and form. This paper attempts to analyze and evaluate Sun Zhili's translation from the perspective of register. This paper is divided into six parts. The introduction briefly introduces the research background, purpose and significance of Emma. The first chapter is a literature review, which summarizes the current situation of the translation of Emma from four aspects: domestication and alienation, translator's subjectivity, feminism and literary stylistics, and points out the shortcomings of previous studies. And the importance of this study. The second chapter is the theoretical framework. This paper first reviews the development of register theory, then discusses the register markers of Chinese and English, and the relationship between the three variables of register. The third chapter is the analysis of the translation of Emma. According to the theoretical framework, this paper analyzes Sun Zhili's Emma translation from three variables of the register. Chapter four, based on Sun Zhi-li 's translation practice, attempts to generalize three translation methods under the guidance of register theory. The last part of the paper is a summary. This paper expounds the research results and practical significance of the paper, and points out the remaining deficiencies in the research.
