微博热门话题意义生成的符号学分析

【摘要】:麦克卢汉(McLuhan,1992)曾说过,,媒介是人类社会前进的动力。在互联网、手机等媒介融合技术发展的大背景之下,微博这一新兴的媒介形态应运而生。微博的产生影响了人们获取信息的方式并引起了一场微革命。它的编辑文本通常被限制在140字符以内,短小精悍且易于传播。用户可以随时随地利用计算机、手机等各种连接网络的终端访问微博,以短信息的形式发布最新的动态和想法。微博平台规模迅速发展,其提供的服务功能也越来越丰富,而热点话题的推荐己经成为几乎所有微博平台共有的主要功能。微博自从问世起,就受到国内外研究者的青睐。国外关于微博的研究主要集中在对微博本身的研究,微博的跨学科研究,以及微博在政治、经济、文化等领域的应用。国内研究主要集中在微博的营销模式,微博的传播机制及其新闻学应用研究。然而,国内外从符号学角度研究微博意义生成机制的研究却寥寥无几。 本文从微博的鼻祖—Twitter以及国内最大的微博网站—新浪微博中选取一个共同的热门话题—意大利游轮触礁搁浅事故作为研究对象,搜集微博用户关于这一话题所发布的微博作为语料,运用格雷马斯的语义学描写步骤对语料进行分析整理,最后运用罗兰·巴尔特符号学的基本原则与方法,对微博热门话题的意义生成机制进行研究,并通过对比分析研究Twitter和新浪微博在热门话题意义呈现方式上的异同。通过本研究的分析,证明微博热门话题的意义生成过程其实是一个意义赋予的二级符号意指过程。第一层次意指过程是能指(声音形象)与所指(概念)结合成初级符号(即热门话题的标题),获取直指意义。第二层次的意指过程是把初级符号即热门话题的标题当作一个新的能指,在发展的社会环境及文化背景中直指意义被不断地定义、抽空、填筑从而被赋予新的所指最终得到新的意义即涵指意义。Twitter和新浪微博热门话题的意义生成过程都遵循了意义赋予的二级符号意指过程。微博热门话题的直指意义是某事件本身,涵指意义在微博传播中,即社会环境和文化背景中形成。但Twitter用户更倾向于表达热门话题的直指意义,新浪微博用户在表达直指意义的同时相对Twitter用户更倾向于表达涵指意义。在观察Twitter用户和新浪微博用户发布的微博时发现,形容词都表示民众对某一热门话题或事件的主要社会评价,动词都表示事件本身的动作特征及社会民众对该事件的社会行为。名词都表示与事件相关的人物,对象,地点等基本要素。然而,Twitter用户相对于新浪微博用户更倾向于用形容词描述与事件相关的人或事物,新浪微博用户更倾向于用形容词表达对该事件或话题的观点或评价。另外,新浪微博用户相对于Twitter用户更倾向于使用一些与事件的直接构成成分不相关的名词。这表明Twitter用户更加注重对事件本身的描述;新浪微博用户倾向于提供更多与事件本身相关的信息。这反映了美国人崇尚就事论事的观念,以及中国人注重获取大量与事件相关的信息的观念。
[Abstract]:McLuhan (1992) once said that the media is the motive force of the human society. In the background of the development of media fusion technology such as the Internet and mobile phones, micro-Bo's emerging media form came into being. Micro-Bo's production has affected people's access to information and led to a micro-revolution. Its editorial text is usually limited to 140 characters short and easy to spread. Users can use computers, mobile phones and other terminals to access microblogs anytime, anywhere, and publish the latest developments and ideas in the form of short messages. With the rapid development of the micro-bo platform, the service function provided by the platform is becoming more and more abundant, and the recommendation of this topic has become the main function of almost all the micro-bo platforms. Since its birth, microbo has been favored by researchers at home and abroad. The study of microbo in foreign countries mainly focuses on the research of microbo itself, the interdisciplinary research of microbo, and the application of microbo in politics, economy, culture and so on. The domestic research mainly focuses on the marketing mode of microbo, the communication mechanism of microbo and its application research. However, at home and abroad, the research on the micro-wave meaning generation mechanism from the perspective of semiotics has not been studied. This paper selects a common hot topic from Microbo's nose and Twitter as well as the largest micro-Bo website in China, and selects a common hot topic in Sina Weibo as the research object, and collects the micro-Bo users published by the micro-Bo users on this topic as the research object. The corpus is used to analyze and sort the corpus using the semantic description steps of Greimus, and finally, using the basic principles and methods of Roland Barter Semiotics, the meaning generation mechanism of micro-Bo hot topic is carried out. By contrast, the research on Twitter and Sina Weibo was presented in a hot topic. Through the analysis of this study, it is proved that the significance of micro-Bo's hot topic is actually a secondary symbol given by meaning. Process. The first level means that the process refers to the combination of (sound image) with the meaning (concept) into a primary symbol (i.e., a title of a hot topic) to acquire a straight finger. Meaning: The meaning of the second level is to use the title of the primary symbol, which is a hot topic, as a new meaning, which is defined, evacuated and filled in the social environment and cultural background of development, so as to be endowed with the new meaning, namely the culvert means. Meaning: The meaning generation process of Twitter and Sina Weibo has followed the meaning ascribed to the secondary symbol. Process. The direct meaning of microbo's hot topic is an event itself, which means that the meaning is in the spread of microbo, that is, the social environment and the cultural background. However, Twitter users are more inclined to express the meaning of a hot topic, and Sina Weibo users are more inclined to express the meaning of words while expressing their meaning. Significance. When observing the micro-Bo published by Twitter users and Sina Weibo users, the adjectives mean that the adjective is the main social evaluation of a hot topic or event, and the verb indicates the action characteristics of the event itself and the social public's social impact on the event act. A noun represents a person, object, place, etc. relating to an event. However, Twitter users prefer to use adjectives to describe people or things related to events, and Sina Weibo users prefer to express their views on the event or topic with adjectives. In addition, Sina Weibo users are more inclined to use some of the direct constituent elements that do not relate to events, compared to Twitter users Noun. This suggests that Twitter users are more focused on the description of events themselves; Sina Weibo users tend to provide more information about events themselves Information. This reflects the notion that Americans advocate on things, as well as Chinese focus on acquiring large numbers of events-related information
