英汉中动结构的认知阐释及其在广告语篇中的应用

【摘要】:本文主要探讨了一种特殊结构,即中动结构,包括英语中动结构和汉语中动结构。根据何文忠对中动结构的观点,即中动结构的表现形式可以用“名词短语+动词短语+附加词”来表示;在句法形态上是主动态和被动态的混合;在语义上凸显的是主语的内在属性,其对动词所指示的虚拟事件的发生有着促进作用,,本文从认知角度对中动结构的形成进行了阐释,并说明了它在广告语篇中的应用。 认知语法学家认为句型结构是有理据而非任意的,并且它们反映了现实关系。在揭示语言结构和人类认知之间的相互关系的过程中,兰盖克提出了典型事件模型,它由台球模型(也叫行为链),舞台模式和角色原型组成。在这理想化的事件模型中,行为链的“头”和“尾”正好和角色原型中的“施事者”和“受事者”相吻合。然而,语言并不总是以这样一种理想化的模式组织起来,因为对于某个既定的事件的编码也存在着多种语法手段。对于一个既定事件,要解释它的各种语言表式形式,主要有三个方面:详细度,凸显和角度。通过这些方式,说话者的侧重和立场就得以体现出来。 基于这些观点,本文对不同于典型事件的中动结构进行了阐释:被动参与者作主语使它在事件中得到凸显;动词用主动形式,强调了主语内在属性对事件发生的促进作用;施动者的隐含弱化了其对命题结果的作用力;不可缺少的修饰动词的附加词使动词所指代的事件在很大程度上静态化了;将表习惯性行为和永恒真理的一般现在时用于中动结构中,使命题的非事件性得到凸显。 关于中动结构的应用,本文通过对例子的分析和对中动结构与非中动结构的对比研究说明其在广告中的效果:在广告措辞上,中动结构的简短性为广告主节省了一笔广告费;在介绍产品的性能上,中动结构的类属性特征和对主语内在属性的凸显起到很大的作用。此外,中动机构中的隐含施事者显示了广告的客观性,这在某种程度上更有说服力;被推销的产品或服务的名称放在中动结构的主语位置,更能够引起人们对它的注意。
[Abstract]:This paper mainly discusses one kind of special structure, namely, the middle structure, including English and Chinese. According to he Wenzhong's view on the middle verb structure, the expression form of the middle verb structure can be expressed by "noun phrasal verb phrase adjunct", and the syntactic form is a mixture of main dynamic and being dynamic. Semantically, the intrinsic attribute of the subject is highlighted, which promotes the occurrence of the virtual event indicated by the verb. This paper explains the formation of the middle verb structure from the cognitive point of view, and explains its application in advertising discourse. Cognitive grammars believe that sentence structures are motivated rather than arbitrary, and they reflect realistic relationships. In the process of revealing the relationship between language structure and human cognition, Langaker proposed a typical event model, which consists of billiard ball model (also called behavior chain), stage model and role prototype. In this idealized event model, the "head" and "tail" of the behavior chain coincide with the "agent" and "subject" in the role prototype. However, languages are not always organized in such an idealized way, because there are many grammatical devices to encode a given event. For a given event, there are three main aspects to explain its various linguistic forms: detail, prominence, and angle. Through these means, the speaker's focus and position can be reflected. Based on these viewpoints, this paper explains the middle structure which is different from the typical event: passive participant as subject makes it prominent in event, verb with active form, emphasizing the role of the intrinsic attribute of subject in promoting the occurrence of event; The implicature of the executor weakens its force on the propositional result, and the indispensable adjunct modifies the verb to a great extent, which makes the events referred to by the verb static to a great extent. In this paper, the general present tense of habitual behavior and eternal truth is used in the structure of intermediate motion, so that the non-eventuality of propositions is highlighted. With regard to the application of the middle structure, this paper shows its effect in the advertisement by analyzing the examples and comparing the middle structure with the non-middle structure: in the advertising wording, the brevity of the middle structure saves the advertisers a sum of advertising expenses; In introducing the performance of the product, the characteristics of the class attribute of the intermediate structure and the salience of the intrinsic attribute of the subject play a great role. In addition, the implicator in the middle mechanism shows the objectivity of the advertisement, which is more persuasive to a certain extent; the name of the product or service being marketed is placed in the subject position of the middle structure, and it can attract people's attention.
