会议口译的前期准备

【摘要】:对于MTI学生而言,会议口译在其口译实践中最为正式,因而最具讨论价值和典型性。由于缺少实践经验、口译知识技巧系统尚不完善,MTI学生在会场口译易面临一系列问题,其中以面对期望值过大而引起的心理问题最为典型。要解决对此类问题,就要先做好会议口译的前期准备。 本报告围绕会议口译讨论,分析了在校翻译硕士在参加会议翻译前期应做的各项准备。作者根据自身学习实践,从会议口译的类型、翻译标准、译员应具备素质出发,以正式度为标准,将自己参加的几次会议口译实践分类为正式讲座会议与非正式午餐会、欢迎会和简要信息介绍会。在此基础上,从Gile提出的口译认知负荷理论出发,结合自身经验教训,分析了针对正式会议会前准备涉及的会议主题准备、专业词汇及背景知识准备、会前与演讲者及时的沟通、对观众群体的认知、口译文具准备、对设备和场地的熟悉、时间安排,衣着礼仪要求、口译任务合理安排、对自己能力正确评估等步骤和重点,重点讨论了在校学生在社会口译实践中常面临的一些心理问题,诸如由于对方期望值过大、因知识面和翻译经验不足出现不可避免的错误时造成的恐慌紧张情绪等并提出相应对策等;报告还根据上述各类非正式会议总结了做此类口译时应准备的知识积累。 此报告做为本人在翻译硕士口译专业实习期间的经验总结,其价值体现于其实用性,,真实性和可借鉴性。
[Abstract]:For MTI students, conference interpretation is the most formal and typical interpretation practice. Due to the lack of practical experience and imperfect system of interpretation knowledge and skills, MTI students are prone to face a series of problems in interpretation at the venue, among which psychological problems caused by excessive expectations are the most typical. To solve this kind of problem, we must make the early preparation of conference interpretation. Based on the discussion of conference interpretation, this report analyzes the preparation of master of translation in college. According to his own learning practice, according to the type of conference interpretation, the translation standard and the quality of the interpreter, the author classifies the interpretation practice of several meetings he has attended into formal lecture meetings and informal luncheon meetings according to the standard of formality. Welcome and briefing sessions. On this basis, based on the cognitive load theory of interpretation proposed by Gile and combining with the experience and lessons, this paper analyzes the preparation of conference topics, professional vocabulary and background knowledge involved in the preparation for formal meetings. Timely communication with the speaker prior to the meeting, understanding of audience groups, preparation of interpretation stationery, familiarity with equipment and venues, timing, dress etiquette requirements, reasonable arrangement of interpretation tasks, correct assessment of one's own abilities, etc. This paper focuses on some psychological problems that students often face in the practice of social interpretation, such as the expectation of the other side is too high, The panic and tension caused by the inevitable mistakes due to the lack of knowledge and translation experience, and so on, and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward. The report also summarizes the accumulation of knowledge that should be prepared for such interpretation on the basis of the above informal meetings. This report is a summary of my experience during my practice in interpreting, and its value lies in its practicability, authenticity and reference.
