对大连海事大学航海类专业双语课程的研究

【摘要】:随着世界经济的发展和需求,中国海员已不仅工作于国内船舶,而且进入了国际海运市场。我国航海院校的毕业生中有很大一部分将从事外派工作,在新的世纪,我国航海类专业学生将是世界国际海员的主要来源,因此,航海院校的目标应朝着培养“国际海员”方向努力。国际海员必须具有很高的英语听、说、读、写的能力,目前我们的毕业生离国际海员的英语要求还有一段距离。在专业课程教学中采用“双语教学”,可以使他们适应国际间交往要求,满足我国国民经济发展和国际海员劳务市场的需要。因此,对于航海院校的核心专业课程来说,双语教学便有了十分重要的意义。 本文旨在探究大连海事大学航海类专业双语课程的教学现状,指出当前大连海事大学航海类专业课双语教学中存在的问题,并试图提出相应的解决方法和措施。 本文主要采用定性和定量相结合的分析方法,通过课堂观察、学生问卷及教师访谈等手段,从教师、课堂教学、教材等方面对大连海事大学具有代表性的四门双语课程(船舶柴油机、船舶辅机、轮机维护与修理、船舶设计原理)进行研究。通过分析得出,大连海事大学航海类专业双语课程存在的主要问题:(1)缺乏足够的合格双语教师和适宜的双语教材。(2)双语课堂没有得以最有效的开展实施。针对这些问题,本文提出一个适合航海类专业双语教学的可行性教学模式,可以为国内的航海类双语教学提供一些有益的意见和建议。
[Abstract]:With the development and demand of the world economy, Chinese seafarers have not only worked in domestic ships, but also entered the international shipping market. A large proportion of the graduates of navigation colleges and universities in China will be engaged in expatriate work. In the new century, the students majoring in navigation in China will be the main source of international seafarers in the world. Therefore, The goal of nautical colleges and universities should be towards the training of international seafarers. International seafarers must have a high ability to listen, speak, read and write in English, and our graduates are still some way from the English requirements of international seafarers. Bilingual teaching can make them adapt to the requirements of international communication and meet the needs of the development of our national economy and the international seafarers' labor market. Therefore, bilingual teaching is of great significance to the core professional courses of navigation colleges and universities. The purpose of this paper is to explore the present situation of bilingual course teaching for navigation major of Dalian Maritime University, to point out the problems existing in bilingual teaching of navigation specialty course of Dalian Maritime University at present, and to put forward the corresponding solutions and measures. This article mainly adopts the qualitative and quantitative analysis method, through the classroom observation, the student questionnaire and the teacher interview and so on, from the teacher, the classroom teaching, In terms of teaching materials, four representative bilingual courses (marine diesel engine, ship auxiliary engine, marine engine maintenance and repair, ship design principle) are studied in Dalian Maritime University. Through the analysis, it is concluded that the main problems existing in the bilingual course of navigation major of Dalian Maritime University are as follows: (1) there is a lack of enough qualified bilingual teachers and suitable bilingual teaching materials. (2) the bilingual classroom has not been carried out most effectively. In view of these problems, this paper puts forward a feasible teaching model suitable for bilingual teaching of navigation specialty, which can provide some useful suggestions and suggestions for bilingual teaching of navigation in China.
