郭士立及其汉语观研究

【摘要】：郭士立是十九世纪初首位来华的德国新教传教士,是一名罕见的“中国通”。本文以郭士立及其汉语观为研究对象,具体分为四章来阐述。 第一章围绕郭士立与汉语来梳理其生平事迹,阐述郭士立的汉语学习及以汉语为工具进行的活动。第二章阐述郭士立汉语观的缘起及其所由产生的时代背景和学术背景。第三章根据郭士立的语法专著《中文语法指南》(Notice on Chinese Grammar)、长篇论文《论中国的语言》(Remarks on the Chinese Language)和《开放的中国》(China Opened)中有关汉语的章节,从语音、汉字、语法三个方面阐述郭士立的汉语观。第四章将郭士立的汉语观与当时盛行的语法著作,如马礼逊的《通用汉言之法》(A Grammar of the Chinese Language)和马世曼的《中国言法》(Elements of Chinese Grammar)进行比较分析,指出郭氏汉语观的特点和不足,探讨其对中国语言学的影响及对当今对外汉语教学的启示。
[Abstract]:Guo Shili, the first German Protestant missionary to come to China in the early 19th century, is a rare "China pass". This paper takes Guo Shili and his view of Chinese as the research object, which is divided into four chapters. The first chapter combs his life story around Guo Shili and Chinese, and expounds Guo Shili's Chinese learning and his activities with Chinese as a tool. The second chapter expounds the origin of Guo Shili's view of Chinese and the background of the times and academic background. The third chapter expounds Guo Shili's view of Chinese from three aspects: pronunciation, Chinese characters and grammar, according to Guo Shili's grammar monograph, "Chinese Grammar Guide" (Notice on Chinese Grammar), "on Chinese language" (Remarks on the Chinese Language) and "Open China" (China Opened). The fourth chapter compares Guo Shili's view of Chinese with the popular grammatical works at that time, such as Maleson's General Chinese dialect (A Grammar of the Chinese Language) and Ma Shiman's Chinese speech (Elements of Chinese Grammar), points out the characteristics and shortcomings of Guo's view of Chinese language, and probes into its influence on Chinese linguistics and its enlightenment to the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
