基于多模态语料库的中美商业访谈手势隐喻对比研究

隐喻曾一直被认为是一种修辞手法,但Lakoff和Johnson（1980）提出的概念隐喻认为隐喻是人类的一种认知方式。而随着Forcevile（2009）提出的多模态隐喻理论,实现了将一直仅限于语言文本的概念隐喻研究转向多模态隐喻研究。本文以以下问题为基础,对中美商业访谈中的多模态手势隐喻进行对比研究:1.中美商业访谈中使用的手势类型的频率分别为多少?在这些商业访谈中,有哪些类型的手势隐喻?2.中美商业访谈中手势隐喻与言语表达匹配性有何异同?3.中美商业访谈手势隐喻多模态意义建构中有何异同?造成这种差异有哪些因素?手势隐喻有什么功能?本文在概念隐喻理论和多模态隐喻理论的基础上,采用自建多模态语料库的方法,选取了具有代表性的两个中国商业访谈和两个美国商业访谈,对其中的手势隐喻进行了对比研究。借助多模态标注工具ELAN5.0进行了定量研究,随后进行定性分析,得出以下结论:1.中美商业访谈中存在五种手势类型,其出现频率从高至低均依次为:节拍性手势、指示性手势、提示性手势、隐喻性手势、图示性手势。其中,隐喻性手势频率在中美商业访谈中分别为8.2%和10.3%。手势隐喻在目标商业访谈中可分为实体...
