美国缪尔小学沉浸式项目学生汉语习得研究

【摘要】:近年来,全球汉语学习人数的迅速增加催生了不同类型的汉语教学方式和教学项目,沉浸式语言教学法自60年代传入美国后得到了迅速的发展,开设中文沉浸式项目的学校数量也在不断增加。沉浸式中文教育是美国目前发展最为迅猛的中文教学模式,设有此类项目的学校受到美国家长的追捧(Cocca,2013)。2016年,美国K-12(幼儿园到高中三年级)开设中文沉浸式项目的学校共208所,这些项目多开设在小学阶段。美国的中文沉浸式项目在明尼苏达州、加利福尼亚州、犹他州等地区已经获得了很大的成功。但针对沉浸式中文项目中小学生汉语习得情况的研究甚少,本文以美国犹他州缪尔小学(Muir Elementary School)中文沉浸式项目学生为研究对象,重点考察了英语为母语的儿童在中文沉浸式环境中的汉语语音、词汇、语法的习得状况以及中文听、说、读、写各项能力的发展状况。除此之外,本文还针对以汉语作为教学语言时对学生学习其他科目的影响进行了研究,研究结果表明犹他州中文沉浸式项目的小学生在其他学科和母语语言能力方面的表现并不逊色于非沉浸式学生。本文主要分为五部分:第一章为引言,介绍了本文的选题缘起,研究内容及研究意义。第二章为研究成果综述,比较详细地介绍了沉浸式项目的理论基础和国内外学者对于沉浸式项目的研究现状。第三章为本文的主要内容,主要研究了在与传统第二语言教学模式完全不同的沉浸式教学环境下,缪尔小学学生汉语语音、词汇、语法的习得情况以及存在的一些偏误和偏误原因分析。本章对缪尔小学中文沉浸式项目学生的中文水平进行了详细的考查和描写。第四章为本文的另一项主要研究内容,文章通过对学生口语会话能力、听力、阅读能力等的测试,考察了缪尔小学幼儿园到四年级学生汉语听、说、读、写各项能力的发展状况。除此之外本章还将各年级中文沉浸式项目学生英语语言艺术、数学、科学等成绩与学校、学区、州平均成绩进行对比,数据证明沉浸式项目学生在科学、数学、英语等核心科目的成绩并不逊色于同龄人,甚至比同龄学生更为优秀。第五章为结论,对本文的观点进行了系统的总结,并指出了研究的一些不足之处。
[Abstract]:In recent years, the rapid increase in the number of Chinese learners in the world has given birth to different types of Chinese teaching methods and teaching projects. Immersion language teaching method has been developed rapidly since it was introduced into the United States in the 1960s.The number of schools offering Chinese immersion programs is also growing.Immersion Chinese education is the most rapidly developing Chinese language teaching model in the United States. Schools with such programs are popular with parents in the United States. In 2016, 208 schools in the United States set up Chinese immersion programs in K-12 (from kindergarten to third grade high school).Most of these projects are in primary school.American Chinese immersion programs have been successful in Minnesota, California and Utah.However, there are few studies on the acquisition of Chinese by primary and middle school students in immersion Chinese programs. This paper takes Muir Elementary School, Utah, as the research object.This paper focuses on the acquisition of Chinese pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar and the development of Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities of native English children in a Chinese immersion environment.In addition, this paper also studies the influence of Chinese as the language of instruction on students' learning other subjects.The results show that the students of the Utah Chinese immersion program perform as well as non-immersion students in other subjects and in their native language proficiency.This paper is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction, which introduces the origin, research content and significance of this paper.The second chapter is a summary of the research results. The theoretical basis of immersion projects and the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars on immersion projects are introduced in detail.The third chapter is the main content of this paper. It mainly studies the Chinese pronunciation and vocabulary of Muir primary school students in the immersion teaching environment, which is completely different from the traditional second language teaching mode.The acquisition of grammar and the analysis of some errors and errors.This chapter makes a detailed examination and description of the Chinese language proficiency of the Chinese immersion project students in Muir Elementary School.The fourth chapter is another main research content of this paper. By testing the students' oral conversation ability, listening ability, reading ability and so on, this paper investigates the Chinese listening, speaking and reading of the students from kindergarten to grade four in Muir Primary School.Write about the development of each ability.In addition, this chapter also compares the English language arts, mathematics, and science scores of Chinese immersion program students in different grades with the average scores of schools, school districts, and states. The data prove that the students of immersion programs are in science, mathematics, etc.Core subjects such as English are as good as their peers and even better than their peers.The fifth chapter is the conclusion, summarizes the viewpoint systematically, and points out some inadequacies of the research.
