《未来的学校》(节选)英汉翻译实践报告

随着全球化的不断发展,国家间的文化交流也变得日益密切。建筑作为文化的一种符号,是不同文化间交流的重要载体,建筑的跨文化交流随着经济的全球化也变得日益迫切,但是国内校园景观建筑存在发展不均衡、整体设计水平偏低、缺乏先进的设计理念指导等问题,需要借鉴并掌握国际先进校园景观设计理念,学习国外经典优秀案例,这同时也对校园景观英语汉译提出了更高的要求。本次英汉翻译实践任务《Future Schools》(节选)介绍了校园景观的历史及其在二战后的发展历程,对我国校园景观建设有着重要的指导意义。斯坦纳阐释翻译理论是科学、成熟的翻译理论,要求译者掌握信赖、吸收、侵入和补偿四步骤翻译出高质量的译文。翻译应在阐释的过程中按照译入语接受者最期待的方式发挥作用。本文以斯坦纳阐释翻译理论为基础,通过对建筑术语、专有名词、名词化结构、词类句类转译、缩略语等汉译过程进行分析,充分发挥译者主体性,通过具体的案例分析阐释翻译方法和策略,将阐释翻译理论和实践相结合,对建筑类文本的汉译过程进行深入而客观的实践分析。本报告认为,斯坦纳阐释翻译理论不仅可以指导文学翻译,在充分发挥译者主体性的前提下,对科技类文本的重要分支即建筑...
