【摘要】：正王武(1632-1690),字勤中,号忘庵,又号雪颠道人,江苏吴县(今苏州)人,明代书家王鏊六世孙,以诸生入太学。他生性和乐平易,少时不屑仕进,善绘事,精鉴赏,富收藏。其先世所遗及平时购获,多宋、元、明诸大家名迹,往往心追手摹,务得其法。王武在15岁时已作巨幅画,"使观者叹绝其妙"。其所作花鸟,位置安稳,赋色明丽,神韵生动,妙得天真。王时敏赞云:"近代写生,率有院气,独勤中神韵生动,当在妙品中。"其传世作品有《花卉册》《红杏白鸽图》《水仙湖石图》《花竹栖禽图》等。《花竹栖禽图》作于丁巳年(1677年)。画幅左侧有款识:"学古而不泥其迹,汪钝翁论文之一法也,溪窗对雨写此。自谓无画工习气,未审少有合于前人否。丁巳春杪,忘凈武记。"图中,一块湖石立于右侧底部,几竿新竹在石前错落而上,一株盛开的牡丹从石后横斜而出,枝头一只
