广州街市人物外销画特色研究

【摘要】:在摄影术发明之前,绘画作为文字之外另一种记录事实的工具,兼具普世性和艺术性。在18世纪末至19世纪前期的中国广州,曾有一批活跃于外销画市场的民间画师,他们接触、学习西方写实绘画技法,并将其运用于对中国本土真实题材的绘制中去,呈现出融合中西特点的画作。因为这些画作的购买者绝大多数来自欧洲国家,目前多收藏于海外美术馆、博物馆,或被私人收藏,在中国除广州及港澳以外鲜有收藏。近几年,尽管随着我国学界、收藏界对这些海外的中国外销画重视度加深,相关研究文献的数量有所增加,但是笔者从搜集到的资料来看,我国学者对其研究的范围大多局限在西方相关研究成果之内,研究角度缺乏创新,对于外销画绘画风格的研究仍属于薄弱环节,所以笔者希望以绘画的角度研究这类风格特殊的绘画。通过浏览多种题材的画作,最终决定将一组街市人物水彩画作为重点研究对象,并将它们限定在18世纪末至19世纪前期以广州为中心制作的图像,联系历史发展过程和市场经济需求,着重分析绘画特色,总结画风形成的原因,力求全面客观地对广州街市人物外销画的价值和意义作出评价。本论文的主要的创新点在于以中国绘画为本体,分析这组绘画在“透视”、“光影”中蕴含的东方意味;结合西方绘画发展阶段,分析影响当时广州街市人物外销画绘作的西画技法;将这组绘画与宫廷长卷画作类比,以突出广州街市人物外销画的艺术价值和存在意义。笔者希望本论文可以引起相关学术界对18世纪末至19世纪前期广州街市人物外销画的关注,从多元化的角度对这批优秀外销画进行研究,并对当时从事外销画绘制的职业画师做出客观公正的评价。
[Abstract]:Before photography was invented, painting was both universal and artistic as a means of recording facts in addition to words. In Guangzhou, China, from the end of the 18th century to the early 19th century, there was a group of folk painters who were active in the export painting market. They came into contact with Western realistic painting techniques and applied them to the drawing of real Chinese subjects. The painting shows a combination of Chinese and Western characteristics. Because the vast majority of buyers of these paintings come from European countries, most of them are currently in overseas art galleries, museums or private collections, with few collections in China except in Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Macao. In recent years, although the number of relevant research documents has increased with the increasing attention paid by Chinese scholars and collectors to these overseas Chinese export paintings, the author looks at the data collected. Most of the research scope of Chinese scholars is limited to western related research results, the research angle is lack of innovation, and the research on the painting style of export painting is still a weak link. Therefore, the author hopes to study this kind of special style of painting from the perspective of painting. By looking at paintings with a wide range of subjects, he finally decided to focus on a group of watercolor paintings of market figures and limit them to images made in Guangzhou from the end of the 18th century to the early 19th century. In connection with the historical development process and the market economy demand, this paper analyzes the characteristics of painting, summarizes the reasons for the formation of painting style, and tries to evaluate the value and significance of the export paintings of the characters in Guangzhou market comprehensively and objectively. The main innovation of this thesis lies in taking Chinese painting as the main body, analyzing the oriental meaning of this group of paintings in "Perspective" and "Light and Shadow", combining with the development stage of western painting, This paper analyzes the techniques of western paintings that influenced the export paintings of figures in Guangzhou market at that time, and compares the paintings with the long curl paintings of the court in order to highlight the artistic value and the existential significance of the export paintings of the figures in Guangzhou market. The author hopes that this paper can draw the attention of the relevant academic circles to the export paintings of Guangzhou market figures from the end of the 18th century to the early 19th century, and study these excellent export paintings from the perspective of diversification. And at that time engaged in export painting professional painting division to make an objective and fair evaluation.
