【摘要】: 歌剧作为一种综合性的艺术门类,是以音乐作为其主要表现手 段的,这也是它与其他姊妹艺术最根本的区别。音乐在歌剧中具有 揭示人物性格、推进戏剧冲突、抒发人物情感、烘托戏剧气氛等重 要功能,它正是通过各种音乐手段、音乐形式的运用,而完成其最 终使命——音乐形象的塑造。本文以几部不同时期具有代表性的中 国歌剧为例,通过引言、歌剧唱腔在音乐形象塑造中的作用、歌剧 的器乐部分在音乐形象塑造中的作用、歌剧演员的二度创作与音乐 形象的塑造和结语五个部分,分别从一度和二度创作的角度,就歌 剧音乐形象塑造的几个问题进行了论述。 在歌剧中,,歌唱是参与形象塑造的主要表现手段,剧中人物唱腔 的营造是音乐形象塑造的关键。主题,作为人物个性化唱腔的凝炼、 概括和浓缩,它不仅为人物性格和形象发展设立了基本的框架,同 时也为音乐形象的进一步展开提供了最根本的依据。歌剧唱腔通过 对戏剧发展不同阶段人物性格的不断揭示,尤其是对戏剧冲突中人 物内心的多视角描绘,最终完成音乐形象的全方位塑造。另外,器 乐作为歌剧音乐整体中不可分割的一部分,在音乐形象塑造中的作 用同样不容忽视。从二度创作的角度,歌剧演员作为形象的物质承 担者和直接体现者,在音乐形象塑造中占有独特的地位。他(她) 既要准确地把握原创,又以其自身的艺术素养、声音的表现力、歌 唱与表演风格往往赋予角色形象以新的内容。 本文主要以歌剧《白毛女》、《江姐》和《原野》为主线从多 层面展开分析,在综合多种观点的基础上阐述自己的认识与见解, 既指出每部作品的成功与不足,又说明后者对前者的继承与发展, 从而透视出中国歌剧音乐创作的发展历程。
