从“三美原则”看《诗经》中叠词的翻译

【摘要】:作为思维表达的最高形式,诗歌一直以来被认为是形式美与精神美的完美结合。中国古典诗歌是汉语言的精华,在世界文学史上具有不可替代的地位。在中国古典诗歌中,《诗经》作为中国最早的诗歌总集,在文学史上占有重要地位。《诗经》中叠词的大量使用,增强了诗歌的艺术感染力,给读者带来美的享受。近年来,《诗经》的英译一直受到国内外的高度关注。但众所周知,要翻译好中国古典诗歌不是一件易事,而要完美地翻译出叠词就更是难上加难。叠词的英译已经引起了少数学者的兴趣。本文拟以许渊冲教授的“三美”原则为主要理论支撑,以《诗经》中脍炙人口的诗句为例,从翻译美学的角度来探讨《诗经》中叠词的翻译方法。 本文由六部分组成。第一章主要介绍了论文的研究背景、意义、目的以及研究方法和期望结果。第二章主要对翻译美学理论和许渊冲的“三美”理论做了介绍,同时进行了文献综述。在第三部分从美学角度对《诗经》中的叠词进行了系统的分析。第四章分别从定义、形式和修辞功能的角度对汉英叠词进行了对比分析。第五章通过分析《诗经》中具体的例子,探讨如何从“三美”的角度翻译《诗经》中的叠词,提出了一些具体可行的翻译方法。最后一章是对全文的总结。
[Abstract]:As the highest form of thinking expression, poetry has always been regarded as a perfect combination of formal beauty and spiritual beauty. Chinese classical poetry is the essence of Chinese language. It has an irreplaceable position in the history of world literature. In Chinese classical poetry, the Book of songs, as the earliest collection of Chinese poems, occupies an important position in the history of literature. The extensive use of overlapping words in the Book of songs enhances the artistic appeal of poetry. In recent years, the translation of the Book of songs into English has received great attention both at home and abroad. However, as we all know, it is not an easy task to translate Chinese classical poetry well. It is even more difficult to translate reduplicated words perfectly. The English translation of reduplicated words has already aroused the interest of a few scholars. This paper will take Professor Xu Yuanchong's "three Beauties" principle as the main theoretical support, and take the popular poems in the Book of songs as an example. From the perspective of translation aesthetics, this paper discusses the translation methods of reduplicated words in the Book of songs. The first chapter introduces the research background, significance, purpose, research methods and expected results of the thesis. The second chapter mainly introduces the translation aesthetics theory and Xu Yuanchong's "three beauties" theory. In the third part, the overlapping words in the Book of songs are systematically analyzed from the point of view of aesthetics. From the angle of form and rhetorical function, this paper makes a contrastive analysis of the reduplicated words in Chinese and English. Chapter five, by analyzing the concrete examples in the Book of songs, discusses how to translate the reduplicated words in the Book of songs from the angle of "three Beauties". Some concrete and feasible translation methods are proposed. The last chapter is a summary of the full text.
