语境顺应视角下《洗澡》的英译研究

【摘要】：翻译作为一项重要而普遍的语言活动在不同语言间文化交流方面起着不可或缺的作用,所以有必要努力发展完善翻译研究的方法,这既有理论意义又具有实践意义。随着当代语言学的快速发展,许多学者利用语言学研究的成果来探索分析翻译过程。由维索尔伦所提出的顺应论为翻译研究提供了一个有力而全面的研究角度,根据顺应论的观点,可以将翻译看做一个有强烈意识参与的不断做出语言选择的过程。《洗澡》是一部广受好评的杰出文学作品,在文学领域也具有深远的影响。作品中包含了众多典型的中文特点和要素,其英译版本也受到读者欢迎和学者们的肯定。所以《洗澡》作为一部优秀的文学作品,其英译本为翻译研究提供了丰富的典型的语言素材。这篇论文从语境顺应角度展开研究,对选取自小说《洗澡》中的语言素材在翻译过程中对语言语境与交际语境的顺应进行了分析。语境在文学翻译中起着不可或缺的作用,其在翻译过程中的重要性不容忽视。对语境全面而准确的顺应有助于提高译文质量。论文将对小说译文进行研究,希望通过对具有代表性的中文作品的英译本的分析,为文学作品的翻译研究提供一些有益的参考启发,文学翻译的主要目的是成功的传递源文本的意义和内涵,而对于文本语境的顺应是实现这种传递的前提条件。此外,论文也探讨了在翻译的语境顺应过程中,主要翻译策略的选择使用。翻译方法与策略应该是在语境顺应的基础上灵活的使用,而不是遵循僵化的规则。顺应论认为语言的使用是一个不断选择的过程,翻译也是如此。顺应论启发了人们进行研究翻译的新角度,翻译的研究不再是单方面的研究,其应该是一种跨学科多方面的研究过程。
[Abstract]:Translation, as an important and universal language activity, plays an indispensable role in the cultural exchange between different languages. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and perfect the method of translation research, which has both theoretical and practical significance.With the rapid development of contemporary linguistics, many scholars use the achievements of linguistic research to explore the process of translation analysis.According to the theory of adaptation, which is put forward by Visorun, it provides a powerful and comprehensive perspective for the study of translation. According to the theory of adaptation, translation can be regarded as a process of making language choices with strong conscious participation.Bathing is an outstanding literary work which is widely praised and has a profound influence in the field of literature.The works contain many typical Chinese features and elements, and their English versions are well received by readers and scholars.Therefore, as an excellent literary work, the English translation of Bath provides rich and typical language materials for translation studies.From the perspective of contextual adaptation, this thesis analyzes the adaptation of linguistic context and communicative context in the translation process of the language materials selected from the novel "Bath".Context plays an indispensable role in literary translation.Comprehensive and accurate adaptation to context helps to improve the quality of the translation.The thesis will study the translation of the novel in the hope of providing some useful references for the translation of literary works through the analysis of the English versions of the representative Chinese works.The main purpose of literary translation is to successfully convey the meaning and connotation of the source text, and the adaptation to the text context is the prerequisite for this kind of transmission.In addition, the thesis also explores the choice and use of translation strategies in the process of contextual adaptation.Translation methods and strategies should be used flexibly on the basis of contextual adaptation rather than following rigid rules.Adaptation theory holds that language use is a process of continuous selection, and so is translation.The theory of adaptation has inspired people to study translation from a new perspective. The study of translation is no longer a unilateral study, but should be an interdisciplinary and multi-faceted research process.
