《真品》翻译报告

【摘要】：亨利·詹姆斯是19世纪末、20世纪初非常活跃的美国小说家，他的小说在美国文坛史以及整个小说史上有重要影响。小说The Real Thing发表于1892年，是亨利·詹姆斯中后期作品，故事情节简单，语言诙谐幽默，思想深刻。然而由巫宁坤先生翻译的，被上海译文出版社收录在《黛西·米勒》一书中的现有译文，存在部分译文用词生僻，过于注重语言形式上的对等等问题，从而造成部分译文逻辑不畅，理解困难。笔者分析之所以会产生上述问题，是因为出生于1920年的巫宁坤先生，用词会受到其生活年代环境的影响，而亨利·詹姆斯的写作风格又喜用长句，语言雕琢，再加上巫宁坤先生翻译时追求结构上的对等，使用异化的翻译策略，就使译文的逻辑性、通顺性大大降低。所以笔者对小说《真品》进行翻译时，选用贴近现代生活词语，在尽可能保持原文比喻、形象和民族、地方色彩的基础上，用意译直译相结合的方法，使译文通顺流畅。精读文本，，笔者发现原文存在较多插入语，这成了文章翻译的难点和重点。笔者根据插入语的不同作用和功能，按汉语的逻辑思维习惯、语言习惯做了相应顺序的调整。经过这次的翻译笔者对意译和直译相结合的方法有了更深刻的体会，也发现了自己在翻译技巧和方法上的诸多不足，不断激励自己前进。
[Abstract]:Henry James is at the end of nineteenth Century, the American novelist is very active at the beginning of twentieth Century, his novels in American literary history and the history of novel has the important influence. The novel The Real Thing published in 1892, is the late works of Henry James, the story is simple, humorous humorous language, profound thought.
However, translated by Mr. Wu Ningkun, has been included in the existing text of Shanghai Translation Publishing House "Daisy Miller" a Book of some uncommon word translation, too much emphasis on the language form of the problem and so on, resulting in the poor part of logic, difficult to understand. The author analysis the reason of the above problems, because born in 192 0 years of Mr. Scott, words will be affected by the life in the environment, and Henry James's writing style and like to use long sentences, language carving, coupled with Mr. Scott when the structure of the pursuit of translation equivalence, use the strategy of foreignization, logic makes translation, so the author smoothness is greatly reduced. The novel < > into genuine For the translation, close to the modern life of words, in as far as possible to maintain the original image and metaphor, based on the national, local color, by combining the translation phase, make the translation smooth. The author found that the original text reading, there are many parenthesis, which became the focal point and difficult point of this chapter according to the translation. The difference in parenthesis Use and function, according to Chinese logical thinking habit, language habits do the corresponding order adjustment. After the combination of the translation methods of literal translation and free translation have a more profound experience, also found many deficiencies in their translation skills and methods, to motivate yourself to move forward.
