儿童图画书词汇范畴转移的翻译研究

【摘要】：与成人文学翻译研究相比，儿童文学翻译的研究成果寥寥可数，更别提对儿童图画书的翻译研究。在数量有限的研究成果中，笔者发现鲜有学者从认知语言学的角度去研究儿童文学翻译中词汇使用的具体问题。事实上，关于词汇翻译，已经有学者尝试用原型范畴理论去研究，并提出词汇范畴转移的观点。但所有研究的目的都是为了克服目的语缺失相对应的词的独特性，并且是站在为成人翻译的角度上去考虑的。原型范畴理论告诉我们，不同的词处于不同的层次范畴。儿童的认知是有限的，他们最早习得和使用的是基本层次范畴词语。源语国家儿童的基本层次范畴词语不一定与目标语国家儿童的一一对应。其他语义范畴层次词语更是如此。译作中出现太多陌生范畴词语，会给儿童阅读造成障碍，影响儿童阅读的乐趣。正是因为如此，本文通过原型范畴理论解释了词汇范畴的四大特点及范畴化的层级系统的组成。结合年青译者漪然的部分译作和其他原版图书，针对儿童图画书翻译中主要的词汇问题，详细地说明了在哪种情况下主动转移词汇范畴，及如何从水平和垂直两个方向实现转移。经过论证，本文得出初步结论：儿童图画书的词汇翻译要从儿童认知出发，主动转移范畴。鉴于儿童文学翻译的特殊性及对孩子的重要性，本文呼吁更多学者投入到童书翻译的研究中,期待儿童文学翻译研究可以百花齐放，百鸟争鸣。
[Abstract]:Compared with the study of adult literature translation, there are few achievements in children's literature translation, not to mention the translation of children's picture books. In a limited number of research results, the author finds that few scholars study the specific problems of lexical use in children's literature translation from the perspective of cognitive linguistics. As a matter of fact, some scholars have tried to use prototype category theory to study lexical translation and put forward the viewpoint of lexical category transfer. However, the purpose of all the studies is to overcome the uniqueness of the words that correspond to the deletion of the target language and to consider it from the perspective of translation for adults. Prototype category theory tells us that different words are in different levels of category. Children's cognition is limited and their earliest acquisition and use are basic level category words. The basic category words of children in source language countries do not always correspond to those of children in target countries. This is especially true of other semantic categories. Too many unfamiliar category words appear in the translated works, which will cause obstacles to children's reading and affect the children's enjoyment of reading. Because of this, this paper explains the four characteristics of lexical category and the composition of hierarchical system of categorization by means of prototype category theory. According to the main lexical problems in the translation of children's picture books and other original books, this paper illustrates in detail the circumstances under which the category of words should be actively transferred. And how to realize the transfer from horizontal and vertical direction. After demonstration, this paper draws a preliminary conclusion: the lexical translation of children's picture books should be based on children's cognition and actively transfer the category. In view of the particularity of children's literature translation and its importance to children, this paper calls on more scholars to devote themselves to the study of children's literary translation, hoping that the study of children's literature translation can blossom in a hundred flowers and contend with a hundred birds.
