《浮生六记》林语堂译本中引用的翻译补偿研究

【摘要】：引用通常涵盖很多文化信息，经常出现在各种题材的文学作品中，是中国文学领域非常重要的一部分，并随时间不断发展和传承。随着中外交流的逐步深入发展，文化在增进国家间关系上起到越来越重要的作用。文学翻译的重要目的之一是实现文化的交流，因此，对引用涵盖的文化因素进行翻译研究有着非常重要的意义。《浮生六记》是作家沈复的一部自传体小说，近年来在中国的文学地位逐渐显现出上升的趋势，相关研究也逐渐增多、研究视野不断扩展。本文则聚焦《浮生六记》中的引用现象，分析并探讨引用实例的英译方法和途径。本文在已有研究成果的基础上，首先对引用与互文、用典作了区分，并介绍了引用的分类、特点和功能，进而据此将《浮生六记》中的引用实例分成明引、暗引、正引、反引和借用。然后，文章以该小说中的引用为例，结合翻译补偿理论从语言层面和审美层面对引用的翻译做了分析并讨论了引用的翻译方法。经过分析，本文发现：（一）对引用进行恰当翻译的前提是清楚使用该引用的目的，无论何种引用形式，译者在翻译时必须考虑到原文运用引用的目的，并根据情况选用翻译策略；（二）采用翻译补偿方法能在一定程度上避免翻译过程中的损失。本文认为在译者翻译引用的过程中要谨记引用的文化功能，并尽量对这些文化元素进行补偿，，在忠于原文的基础上达到文化交流的目的。
[Abstract]:With the gradual development of Chinese and foreign exchanges , the culture has played a more and more important role in the promotion of inter - State relations . One of the important purposes of literary translation is to realize the communication of culture . Therefore , it is very important to study the cultural factors which are covered by reference .

On the basis of the research results , this paper makes a distinction between citation and cross - text , and discusses the methods and ways of translation .
( 2 ) The translation compensation method can avoid the loss in the translation process to a certain extent . In the process of the translator ' s translation , it is believed that the reference cultural function should be remembered , and the cultural elements should be compensated as far as possible , so as to achieve the purpose of cultural exchange on the basis of faithfulness to the original text .
