《诈骗》翻译实践报告（第一章到第三章）

【摘要】：本报告是以美国著名作家约翰·格里森姆的法律小说《诈骗》为文本材料进行翻译实践后,对整个翻译过程及相关文本内容处理方法的实践总结。笔者的翻译任务为小说第一章至第三章,共计一万余字。笔者选择这三章作为此次论文的翻译材料。 《诈骗》是约翰·格里森姆出版的最新的法律小说，于2012年10月由双日出版社出版。作者约翰·格里森姆是美国法律小说的代表作家，曾当选密西西比州众议院民主党议员，其多部作品名列纽约时报畅销书榜榜首或改编成电影，，并被翻译成多种语言。笔者通过因特网及其他方面的查找,并未找到译本,因此选择翻译这部小说。 本实践报告共四部分。 第一部分是对翻译任务的描述,主要介绍了翻译文本《诈骗》的来源,文本的作者约翰·格里森姆及其写作风格。 第二部分是对翻译过程的描述,首先是翻译前的准备,包括专有名词的翻译和翻译工具的选择；其次是语义翻译方法和翻译各个阶段的介绍。 第三部分是案例分析，包括《诈骗》中所使用的词语和句子的特点和一词多义及增词和减词的翻译案例分析。 最后一部分是总结,经过本次翻译实践,笔者总结了一个合格的译者需要具备的素养，即丰富的知识储备和认真谨慎的工作态度,这些是译者在学习和工作中需要努力培养的素质。
[Abstract]:This report is a summary of the whole process of translation and the methods of dealing with the content of the relevant texts, based on the translation practice of the famous American writer John Grissom's legal novel "Fraud". The author's translation tasks are from chapter one to chapter three, with a total of more than 10, 000 words. The author chooses these three chapters as the translation materials of this thesis. Fraud is the latest legal novel published by John Grissom, published by Bigday Press in October 2012. John Grissom, a representative author of American legal fiction and a former Democrat in the Mississippi House of Representatives, has topped the New York Times best-seller list or adapted into films and has been translated into multiple languages. Through the Internet and other aspects of the search, the author did not find a translation, so choose to translate the novel. This practice report consists of four parts. The first part is a description of the translation task, mainly introduces the source of the translated text fraud, the author of the text, John Grissom and his writing style. The second part describes the process of translation, first of all, the preparation before translation, including the translation of proper nouns and the choice of translation tools; secondly, the semantic translation method and the introduction of various stages of translation. The third part is a case study, including the features of the words and sentences used in Fraud and the translation of polysemy and addition and subtraction. The last part is a summary. Through this translation practice, the author summarizes the qualities a qualified translator needs, that is, a rich knowledge reserve and a careful working attitude. These are the qualities that translators should strive to cultivate in their study and work.
