《爱妻》英译汉节选（第1章和第2章）及其翻译报告

【摘要】：本翻译项目的源语文本是华裔美国作家任碧莲(Gish Jen)所著的长篇小说《爱妻》（TheLove Wife）。小说描述的是一个血统复杂的家庭故事，挖掘族裔融合，全世界一家人的主题。在文化融合和世界化进程的今天，翻译这本小说以期让中文读者接触这本华裔美国文学作品，了解多族裔文化社会，思考多族裔碰撞和冲突问题。 本翻译报告借鉴斯奈尔-霍恩比的翻译综合法从小说翻译词语、句式和隐喻修辞三个方面对翻译过程中的各种翻译案例进行分析，探讨翻译中遇到的多种翻译现象和翻译问题,进而总结出类似文学翻译中译者可以采取的一些翻译方法。
[Abstract]:The source language of this translation project is the novel "wife" by (Gish Jen), a Chinese American writer, (TheLove Wife). The novel depicts a family story of complex lineages, excavating ethnic fusion, and the theme of a family around the world. In the process of cultural integration and globalization, the translation of this novel aims to expose Chinese readers to this Chinese-American literary work, to understand the multi-ethnic cultural society, and to consider the issue of multi-ethnicity collision and conflict. Based on Snell Hornby's comprehensive translation approach, this report analyzes various translation cases in the process of translation from three aspects: lexical translation, sentence structure and metaphorical rhetoric, and probes into various translation phenomena and translation problems encountered in translation. Then it summarizes some translation methods which can be adopted by translators in literary translation.
