《红楼梦》三个译本中鸳鸯的语言之翻译对比：基于关联理论

【摘要】：《红楼梦》作为我国四大名著之首，多年来一直受到广大学者的关注与喜爱。近年来，涌现出大量关于《红楼梦》英译本的研究。在《红楼梦》中登场的人物多如牛毛，关系错综复杂，其中王熙凤、贾宝玉、林黛玉、薛宝钗等主要人物是学者关注的重点。除了主角之外，处于配角地位、身份卑微的奴婢也有其独特的魅力，但由于种种原因，一直以来我们较少见到以《红楼梦》中配角为主要研究对象的文献。因此，本文欲以相对受关注较少的奴婢阶层为切入点，并选择大观园中最具代表性的丫鬟之一的鸳鸯为研究对象，运用关联理论研究对三个不同译本中鸳鸯的语言对话翻译进行比较分析，进一步分析展示了三个译本在翻译风格以及关联主义对于翻译的解释力。此外，由于《红楼梦》的独特魅力，近年来，许多的学者从不同方面针对《红楼梦》各译本的优劣进行了大量研究，其中也出现了很多经典之作。但是笔者在资料收集过程中注意到，虽然针对《红楼梦》翻译的研究多如牛毛，但是多数研究都是针对杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇译本（以下简称杨译本），霍克斯、闵福德译本（以下简称霍译本）进行研究。对于由邦斯尔牧师翻译的第一个《红楼梦》全译本（以下简称邦译）的研究较少。因此，本文将三个译本进行了整合，从关联主义的角度对三个译本进行了横向比较。本文共分五章。第一章是论文简介，阐述文章目的、研究背景及其方法和意义。在第二章，作者回顾了中外学者对于《红楼梦》翻译的研究。第三章对关联主义进行了较为细致的介绍，对关联主义中的重要概念进行了阐述。第四章作者选取《红楼梦》中鸳鸯的典型语言进行研究，，从关联主义的角度出发，选取典型语料，对三个译本中鸳鸯的语言进行了对比研究，试图分析译者是否在准确理解原文的基础上在译文中实现最佳关联。第五章中，作者对文章进行了总结，并指出了文章的不足指出，为日后的研究提出了建议。
[Abstract]:The Dream of Red Mansions, as the first of the four masterpieces in China, has been concerned and loved by many scholars for many years. In recent years, there has been a great deal of research on the English translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. In A Dream of Red Mansions, there are many characters and complicated relationships. Among them, Wang Xifeng, Jia Baoyu, Lin Daiyu, Xue Baochai and other main characters are the focus of scholars' attention. In addition to the protagonists, slave maidservants who are in a supporting role also have their own unique charm. However, for various reasons, we have rarely seen the supporting role in A Dream of Red Mansions as the main research object. Therefore, this article wants to pay less attention to the slave class as the entry point, and choose one of the most representative servant girls in Daguanyuan as the research object, This paper makes a comparative analysis of the translation of mandarin ducks in the three different versions by using relevance theory, and further analyzes the translation style of the three versions and the explanatory power of relevance doctrine on translation. In addition, because of the unique charm of A Dream of Red Mansions, in recent years, many scholars have done a lot of research on the merits and demerits of each version of A Dream of Red Mansions from different aspects, among which many classics have appeared. However, in the course of collecting the data, the author noticed that although there have been a lot of studies on the translation of A Dream of Red Mansions, most of the studies have been directed at Yang Xianyi, the couple's translations (hereinafter referred to as Yang's version), Hawks. Minford translation (hereinafter referred to as Huo version) to study. Little research has been done on the first full version of A Dream of Red Mansions (hereinafter referred to as Bong translation) translated by Reverend Bonsle. Therefore, this paper integrates the three versions and compares them horizontally from the perspective of relevance. This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is a brief introduction of the paper, the purpose, research background, methods and significance. In the second chapter, the author reviews the studies on the translation of A Dream of Red Mansions. The third chapter introduces relevance doctrine in detail and expounds the important concepts of relevance doctrine. In the fourth chapter, the author chooses the typical language of mandarin duck in A Dream of Red Mansions to carry on the research, from the angle of relevance, selects the typical corpus, carries on the contrast research to the mandarin duck's language in the three versions. This paper attempts to analyze whether the translator can achieve optimal relevance in the target text on the basis of an accurate understanding of the original text. In the fifth chapter, the author summarizes the article, points out the deficiency of the article, and puts forward some suggestions for the future research.
