岑家梧及《图腾艺术史》之准研究

【摘要】: 《图腾艺术史》是我国著名民族学家岑家梧三十年代在日本留学时的著作,1937年由商务印书馆出版。 作者运用社会学的方法系统地研究和探讨了图腾艺术的产生、发展及衰亡的过程。阐明了尚处在原始阶段的民族之图腾艺术与史前图腾艺术的延续关系和根本性的区别。表明了图腾艺术具有很广泛的普遍性,它在人类发展史上占有极重要的位置。 同时,作者运用大量的历史文献、民族学调查资料,以及国外有关资料来应证上述观点,批判了国外某些学者对图腾艺术的片面认识。这是一部中国原始艺术研究领域中的经典著作。
[Abstract]:The History of Totem Art was published by the Commercial Press in 1937 when Cen Jia-wu, a famous ethnologist in China, studied abroad in Japan in the 1930s. The author systematically studies and discusses the process of the emergence, development and decline of totem art by means of sociology. This paper expounds the continuing relationship and fundamental difference between totem art and prehistoric totem art, which are still in the primitive stage. It shows that totem art has a wide range of universality, it occupies an extremely important position in the history of human development. At the same time, the author applies a large number of historical documents, ethnological investigation materials, and foreign related materials to support the above views, criticizing some foreign scholars' one-sided understanding of totem art. This is a classic work in the field of Chinese primitive art.
