福克纳和白先勇小说中的时间意识比较

【摘要】：中国作家白先勇和美国作家福克纳都是时间意识极强的作家，，他们的时间意识在各自的小说中有鲜明的体现。本文拟用比较文学平行研究的方法，透视福克纳和白先勇两位作家作品中的时间意识及其产生根源，在比较过程中，审视中西方文学传统的差异。第一、二、三章分别从主题、人物、表达技巧等三方面阐述作品中体现出来的时间意识并进行比较，第四章从作家出身经历、社会背景、文化心理和哲学基础等四个方面追溯两位作家时间意识产生的根源。结语部分总结两位作家时间意识的异同并得出结论：白先勇的时间表述中渗进了沉重的国家民族论述，具有强烈的历史感；福克纳的时间表述中则有更多象征的意义，它超越了南方的特定地域，而指涉人类的生存状况，这正体现了中西方文学传统的差异。
[Abstract]:Bai Xianyong, a Chinese writer, and Faulkner, an American writer, are both highly time-conscious writers whose time consciousness is clearly reflected in their novels. This paper intends to use the method of parallel study of comparative literature to examine the time consciousness and its origin in the works of Faulkner and Bai Xianyong, and to examine the differences between Chinese and western literary traditions in the process of comparison. The first, second, and third chapters elaborate and compare the time consciousness embodied in the works from three aspects, namely, theme, character, expression skills, etc. The fourth chapter deals with the writer's background and social background. The origin of time consciousness of the two writers is traced back from four aspects: cultural psychology and philosophical basis. The conclusion part summarizes the similarities and differences of the two writers' time consciousness and draws the conclusion: Bai Xianyong's time expression has infiltrated into the heavy national exposition and has a strong sense of history; Faulkner's time expression has more symbolic significance, it transcends the specific region of the South, but refers to the living conditions of human beings, which reflects the differences between Chinese and Western literary traditions.
