以《难忘的旅程》英汉翻译为例看英译汉小说翻译

【摘要】：《难忘的旅程》是当代澳大利亚女作家Liz Byrski的作品。作者用非常细腻的笔触讲述了一位中年女政客在遭遇枪击后生活发生的天翻地覆的变化及周围人的感受。译者选取了小说前两章进行翻译,并从文学翻译的理论与实践、小说翻译的基本方法及翻译作品风格等几方面进行思考和探索,尤其挑取了人物语言个性的翻译、人物的塑造与翻译及小说的修辞与翻译在自己译文中相对的例子,对小说的翻译技巧进行探究,为以后小说翻译的实践提供一定的借鉴。
[Abstract]:The unforgettable Journey is the work of contemporary Australian writer Liz Byrski. The author describes the dramatic changes in the life of a middle-aged woman politician after being shot and the feelings of those around her. The translator chooses the first two chapters of the novel to be translated and explores the theory and practice of literary translation, the basic methods of translation and the style of translation, especially the translation of the characters' language personality. In order to provide some reference for the practice of translation in the future, this paper probes into the translation skills of the characters and the relative examples of figures of speech and translation of the novel in their own translation.
