《百年好合》翻译实践报告

【摘要】：《百年好合》是英国女作家谢米姆·萨尔弗的代表作之一。2012年底,作者参与了上海东方翻译中心的项目,翻译了该小说的第一章至第三章,并在此次翻译实践的基础上撰写了本报告。 关联理论是由法国学者斯波伯和英国学者威尔逊于1986年提出的。长期以来,它一直在为文学翻译提供理论指导。在翻译源文本的过程中,作者也参考了关联理论的部分观点。作者分别在词汇层面和句法层面总结了翻译过程中遇到的问题,对源文本中的实例进行了对比分析,并尝试运用关联理论给出可能的解决方案。通过本报告可以看出,关联理论能够有效应用于文学翻译中,并为某些难点提供解决策略。
[Abstract]:In late 2012, the author participated in the project of Shanghai Oriental Translation Center and translated chapters I to III of the novel. The present report is based on the translation practice. Relevance theory was put forward by French scholar Spaub and English scholar Wilson in 1986. For a long time, it has been providing theoretical guidance for literary translation. In the process of translating the source text, the author also refers to some viewpoints of relevance theory. The author summarizes the problems encountered in translation at the lexical level and the syntactic level, makes a comparative analysis of the examples in the source text, and tries to provide possible solutions by using relevance theory. It can be seen from the present report that relevance theory can be effectively applied to literary translation and provide strategies for solving some difficulties.
