小说《资深伴郎》翻译报告

【摘要】：本文是一篇翻译实践报告。小说《资深伴郎》（Always the Best Man）是加拿大作家菲奥纳·哈珀的一部浪漫的爱情故事。受外研社委托，并按照合同要求，本人完成了这部小说的翻译任务。本报告选取了作品的前两章译文作为翻译实践总结内容。出于译文是作为双语对照读物使用的特殊需要，委托方要求该部文学作品的翻译须最大限度地接近原文，，再现原文的语言风格特点，同时要求译文通顺、规范，避免晦涩、拗口，具有可读性，语言应符合浪漫爱情小说市场的大众阅读口味。本报告报告详细记录了整个翻译过程，包括任务描述、翻译过程与案例分析以及实践总结四部分。其中，在案例分析中，综合运用翻译理论知识和技巧，重点说明笔者如何主要运用语义翻译策略，努力做到再现源语措辞、语序和风格的。通过本次翻译实践，笔者积累了大量的翻译经验，并综合实践了所学翻译策略和技巧，对翻译工作有了全新的认识。作为翻译的主体，译者不仅应该有着深厚的双语语言功底，较宽广的百科知识面和理论视野，较高的综合素质，更要有严谨的治学精神和精益求精的敬业态度。在翻译过程中，笔者同样地重新认识了自己，发现了自己存在的问题和不足，找到了努力的方向。
[Abstract]:This paper is a translation practice report. (Always the Best Man) is a romantic love story by Canadian writer Fiona Harper. Entrusted by the Foreign Research Institute, and in accordance with the requirements of the contract, I completed the translation of the novel. The translation of the first two chapters is selected as the summary of translation practice. In view of the special need of the translation as a bilingual contrast, the client requested that the translation of the literary works should be as close as possible to the original text, reproduce the language style of the original, and at the same time require the translation to be smooth, standardized, and to avoid obscurity. Mouthful, readability, language should be in line with romantic love novel market popular reading taste. This report describes the translation process in detail, including task description, translation process and case analysis, and practice summary. Among them, in the case analysis, the author makes use of translation theory knowledge and skills to explain how the author mainly uses semantic translation strategies to reproduce the source language wording, word order and style. Through this translation practice, the author has accumulated a lot of translation experience, and has comprehensively practiced the translation strategies and skills learned, and has a new understanding of translation work. As the subject of translation, the translator should not only have a deep bilingual language background, a broad range of knowledge and theoretical vision, a higher comprehensive quality, but also a rigorous spirit of study and an attitude of excellence and dedication. In the process of translation, the author reconsiders himself, finds his own problems and shortcomings, and finds the direction of his efforts.
