[Abstract]:This paper systematically combs and discusses the uniqueness of Goethe's aesthetic thought of literature and art and its enlightenment and influence on later generations by expounding the connotation of the concept of "morphology" initiated by Goethe. Morphology is a concept put forward by Goethe in the study of plant deformation and transplanting into the field of literary aesthetics, with organic theory as its core. Goethe's "Beauty is a primitive phenomenon". A series of aesthetic propositions, such as "Man is the highest object of plastic arts", all have the theoretical background of the concept of "morphology". His poetics theories such as "primitive poetry" and "world literature" also fully embody the connotation of "morphology". In the debate on the aesthetic paradigm of "classical" and "romantic", Goethe's famous conclusion that "classical is healthy and romantic is morbid" also has deep "morphological" meaning. The influence of Goethe's aesthetic concept of literature and art from the perspective of "morphology" on the great changes in the research ideas and methods in the field of art history at the turn of the 20th century can be said to be decisive. Wolflin, Ligger, Warringer and other art historians have carried out the basic idea of "morphology" in their research. In the field of poetics, Heidegger's concept of "original poetry" and the concept of "prototype" by Canadian literary theorist Frye also show traces of the influence of the concept of "morphology". Goethe's theory of "morphology" criticizes the position of humanism in the philosophy of subjectivity since modern times. His profound thinking on the relationship between man and nature, art and nature enlightens the further criticism and subversion of subjective philosophy by modern and postmodern ecological movements, process philosophy and so on.
