古诗中隐喻的翻译对策研究

比喻手法的广泛运用是中国古诗的一大特色,也是古诗翻译的难点所在,如何更好的表达古诗中蕴含的丰富的神韵,达到传神、化境的境界是所有翻译工作者的共同梦想。本论文结合隐喻的基本理论知识,尤其是认知语言学对隐喻的阐述,分析了古诗中隐喻及其翻译特点,并且指出隐喻翻译和英汉两种语言的文化背景有着密切的关系,如果是站在文化输出的角度来说,我们更应该侧重于翻译的本土化,这样才会使更多的西方读者感受到中国五千年灿烂文化的魅力,进而达到跨文化交际的目的。 本论文共分成五章,第一章从历史发展的角度总结了传统隐喻研究的发展阶段及其特点,然后重点介绍了认知语言学中的概念隐喻,这也是本论文关于隐喻的主要理论依据,本文从概念隐喻的基础、形成机制、类型以及特点方面作了详细分析介绍。第二章介绍了诗歌和隐喻的密切联系,重点总结了中国古诗的特点以及隐喻在其中的特点和作用。第三章论述了国内外关于诗歌翻译的重要代表人物及他们的翻译观点,并对纽马克关于隐喻翻译的观点作了详细的介绍。第四章总结了中国古诗中隐喻翻译方法及特点,并运用了大量的实例分析以证明其翻译得失。论文的第五章是结论部分,通过前四章的讨论分析,我们认为在文化输出和交流的前提下,诗歌翻译应尽可能的保持本土文化的特征,对由于文化差异造成的审美差异或语义误解我们可以采取代偿的方式进行弥补。 总之,在诗歌翻译的过程中我们首先应该明确翻译的目的,在这一目的的指导下结合实际创造出贴近原文的译文。相信随着各国经济文化交流的不断融合和发展,不同文化背景下的诗歌会越来越容易被外国读者接受和欣赏,中国古诗的光辉灿烂会得到更好的继承和发扬光大。
