接受美学视角下元杂剧《蝴蝶梦》杨宪益英译本研究

　　《蝴蝶梦》是我国元杂剧开山鼻祖关汉卿的作品,其中含有大量的典故、人名、俗语,亦使用了不少修辞句,戏曲语言极具生活化和性格化,由于元杂剧特殊的文学体式和用语风格,使得其英译具有一定难度,国内对《蝴蝶梦》的英译也少之又少。杨宪益、戴乃迭是一对堪称中英合璧的翻译家夫妻,对元杂剧的英译开始得较早,二人所译《关汉卿杂剧选》是较为成功的元杂剧英译作品之一,本文选取的《蝴蝶梦》英译本便出自其中。目前,国内对关汉卿《蝴蝶梦》的研究主要是从法律、戏剧、文学等方面进行探讨,但少有对其英译本的研究。本文从接受美学视角对杨宪益《蝴蝶梦》英译本进行研究。接受美学是一种读者中心论范式的文学理论,将重点放在读者的接受上,对文学翻译研究很有借鉴意义。有鉴于此,本文以接受美学为理论依据,通过“期待视野”、“不确定性”和“召唤结构”,对杨宪益《蝴蝶梦》英译本从词、句及语篇三个层面进行探讨、论述和研究,以期为元杂剧英译提供借鉴与参考,促进元杂剧的对外传播与交流。迄今为止,在中国知网上检索的文献资料中未见到元杂剧《蝴蝶梦》英译本的专门性及系统性研究,这正是本论文的难点及创新之处,但同时也为进一步研究提供了可能性和空间。
