《射雕英雄传》英译本中武侠精神的翻译与传播研究

本论文以文章翻译学为理论基础,对金庸武侠小说《射雕英雄传》英译本中武侠精神的翻译与传播情况进行了深入研究。首先,根据小说中诸要素对武侠精神的体现情况进行分类。其中,小说中的人物动作、武打场面和人物的名号与门派直接体现了武侠精神;人物的对话、基本情况和生活场景间接体现了武侠精神。其次,分析了译者所采用的翻译策略。译者使用词类转换和词语增删等方法翻译人物动作,用文内解释和附录加注等方法翻译人物名号与门派,用直接对应的方法翻译武打场面和生活场景等。再次,从“译文三合‘义’‘体’‘气’”视角探讨了小说译本在内容传达、文体对应和思想再现等三个方面的问题。最后,通过分析英语世界读者对小说译本的评价,得出小说译本在英语世界得到了一定程度的传播,但传播力度仍需加强,传播手段要与时俱进。研究表明,《射雕英雄传》英译本中武侠精神的翻译与传播情况总体较好,但也存在不足。本论文认为,武侠小说译者在翻译前应对原文作者的基本情况和所处时代背景做充分了解;翻译过程中,要把武侠小说翻译当做传播中国文化的重要途径,做到“美文美译”;译作完成后,选择合适的出版社有助于传播译作,进而有助于传播中国文化。
