勃朗特姐妹作品中的暴风雨意象研究

【摘要】：哈沃斯荒原上的英国三姐妹——夏洛蒂·勃朗特,艾米莉·勃朗特和安妮·勃朗特,是文学史上绝无仅有的奇迹。她们的人生经历、文学品格和美学思想都是文学研究中取之不竭的精神宝藏。在勃朗特姐妹作品中,诞生云波诡谲的意象群,例如暴风雨、孤堡、荒原、疯女人、鬼魂等,这些意象既具有文学上的历史传承性,又表现出浓厚的个人独创风格,因此对小说主题的深入和人物形象的塑造都起到重要作用,是创作者和接受者之间心灵沟通的桥梁。暴风雨在众多意象中具有独特的研究价值,它来源于西方文学的圣经传统,成型于莎士比亚时代,最终在勃朗特三姐妹的作品中得到充分阐释。对于勃朗特三姐妹来说,暴风雨自由的、鲁莽的特点似乎是她们与生俱来的气质,暴风雨有时候象征着生活的苦楚,有时候象征着爱情的碰撞,有时候象征着心灵的释放,它是情感运动的衍生品,是有个性的艺术家独特的生命哲学。暴风雨意象在三姐妹作品中的表现程度各有不同,它给夏洛蒂的文本带来了浓重的哥特色彩,在艾米莉的作品中是对人性和心灵的直接指涉,而在安妮的作品中则被收摄为对最高理性的信仰。作为对自由的象征和呼唤,三姐妹作品中的暴风雨意象具有以下的共同点：第一,它是各种情感矛盾在一瞬间的集中和爆发,因此在形式上精粹凝练,在内涵上多义歧解；第二,暴风雨意象是创作主体在常年的生活实践中形成的对自然物象和社会现象的认识,这种认识的高尚之处就是对现实的反叛和思考；第三,它又是原始思维与现代哲学在某种无意识的条件下的自然聚合和推衍,是人类思维高度抽象的结果。总而言之,对勃朗特姐妹作品中的暴风雨意象的研究,是从文艺理论的视角对作家作品做的解读和尝试,在向着人性本真和心灵自由的突进。所谓的暴风雨意象,作为烘托环境氛围,衬托人物形象,寄托作家情思的特定艺术符号,是人类普适性情感在勃朗特姐妹作品中的最生动体现,同时是在与自然和世界对话的过程中转向自我的筹措体验,因此值得深入研究和思考。
[Abstract]:Charlotte Bronte, Emily Bronte and Anne Bronte, three British sisters on the Haworth wasteland, are the only miracles in the history of literature. Their life experience, literary character and aesthetic thought are inexhaustible spiritual treasures in literary research. In the Bronte sisters' works, the creation of mysterious image groups, such as storms, solitary castles, wastelands, crazy women, ghosts and so on, these images have both literary historical heritage, but also show a strong individual creative style. Therefore, it plays an important role in the depth of the novel theme and the shaping of the character image, and is the bridge between the creator and the receiver. Storm has a unique research value in many images. It originated from the biblical tradition of western literature, formed in Shakespeare's time, and finally was fully explained in the works of the three Bronte sisters. For the Bronte sisters, the freedom and recklessness of the storm seem to be their innate qualities, which sometimes symbolize the suffering of life, sometimes the collision of love, sometimes the release of the soul, It is the derivative of emotional movement and the unique life philosophy of individual artists. The stormy images have different degrees of expression in the works of the three sisters. It brings a strong Gothic color to Charlotte's text, and in Emily's works is a direct reference to human nature and soul. In Anne's works, however, it is accepted as a belief in the highest reason. As a symbol and call for freedom, the stormy images in the works of the three sisters have the following common points: first, it is the concentration and eruption of various emotional contradictions in an instant, so it is condensed in form and polysemous in connotation; Secondly, the image of storm is the cognition of natural objects and social phenomena formed by the creative subject in the practice of life all the year round. The nobleness of this understanding is the rebellion and thinking of reality. Third, it is the natural convergence and derivation of primitive thinking and modern philosophy under some unconscious conditions, and it is the result of highly abstract human thinking. In a word, the study of the stormy image in Bronte's sisters' works is an attempt to interpret and attempt the writer's works from the angle of literary theory, and to advance towards the essence of human nature and the freedom of mind. The so-called storm image, as a special artistic symbol of setting off the environment atmosphere, setting off the character image and reposing the writer's affection, is the most vivid embodiment of the universal emotion of human beings in the Bronte sisters' works. At the same time, it turns to self-financing experience in the process of dialogue with nature and the world, so it is worth studying and thinking deeply.
