[Abstract]:As one of the greatest writers in the history of modern world literature, Robin Delanat Tagore has created a literary temple with profound meaning, rich connotation, gorgeous and unique for future generations. Tagore's life and creation are in the transition period of Indian nationalism at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. The national traditional culture of India and the foreign modern culture of the West have deeply influenced the growth of Tagore. There are immediate feelings and profound thoughts on the cultural relationship between the East and the West, that is, imperialism and colonization. There is no doubt that these are fully demonstrated in the poet's poems, but whether in terms of the number of creations, the creative techniques and the subject matter of the works, novels occupy a unique and important position in Tagore's works. They are the real reflection of the author to the real life and the inner world, and are closely related to the author's life feeling and survival experience. By studying Tagore's novel creation and his identity, this paper helps to clarify the cultural context and the complex relationship between post-colonialism and cultural pluralism, which is more comprehensive and systematic. Objectively understand and grasp Tagore's novel creation and text significance. In particular, Tagore's cultural identity not only reflects the pain and confusion of India's thirst for cultural belonging under the oppression of colonial forces, but also shows that it will live together all over the world for a long time through "political identity" and has different ethnic groups, languages and cultures. The ethnic groups of historical tradition unite to create a "imaginary community" to achieve the ideal of prosperity and happiness in a harmonious and unified "third space" of the integration of eastern and western cultures. On the basis of combing and reviewing the research status of Tagore at home and abroad, this paper first summarizes the pedigree of Tagore's novels from a diachronic and dynamic point of view, and describes the general situation of the hybrid of Tagore's novels with Eastern and Western cultures. And the interaction with the construction of cultural identity. Then it leads to the social background and cultural background of Tagore's identity, and briefly explains the influence of Indian traditional culture, family, personal growth experience and western culture represented by Britain. Secondly, it analyzes the characters in Tagore's novels, focusing on the metaphorical and symbolic nature of female images. Through the explanation of the female image itself and the contradiction and division between these images in the novel, it is revealed that the contradictory view of women is the direct and most representative embodiment of the mixed nature of Tagore's cultural identity construction. Thirdly, starting with the core issues of postmodern and post-colonial cultural identity, this paper focuses on two issues: how did colonial invasion cause the break between Tagore's survival experience and his expressive discourse? How does Tagore construct his own cultural identity through novel creation against colonial discourse hegemony? While giving vivid and vivid characters to the characters in the novel, he also projects his own identity confusion and identity crisis, which form a mapping relationship as in the mirror. At the same time, this paper provides a starting point for readers to understand the mixed nature of Tagore's cultural identity, and also adds some immature views and opinions of the author. The author believes that every culture must have its essence and dross, no culture has the ultimate universal significance, the conflict between different cultures is not the foundation of cultural development, but the contact in the conflict makes the bridge between different cultures. In order to achieve integration.
